I suppose it was my post in the thread about the magnetic poles moving faster than usual.
I said something like "Better hurry up and create a magnetic tax to slow down Man Made Global Magnetic Change".
I had a feeling they wouldn't like that, but I just couldn't resist.

I’m kind of tickled that I got a wrist slap for posting on the “What I Learned in Church” thread that heaven has strict entrance requirements but hell has open borders.

Personally, for the billions that California is spending for their High Speed Rail they could have improved air travel in the state immensely, along with public transit improvements to get to and from the airports.
But that would be interfering with some politicians wet dream.

I've said before that I left after being banned trying very hard to follow their damn rules. A pity they closed the Spin Zone. They way they're headed they'll have a pristine site in which no on discusses any politics of any kind because no one posts there at all.
Of course, that would be a disaster for this site, since a sizable fraction of the content here is based on what happens there.

I was on the AOPA Board when it was still the "Yellow Board" in 1998, then saw the change to the Red Board, and the content was about the old Yellow Board, then was on POA the first day it opened, and a lot of it was complaints about the Red Board. That is WHY POA was started in the first place. This board was started due to the stupid changes at POA, so of course it will get talked about just like the ohters.

Most of us escaped the stupid people at AOPA and POA and came here to be free from the stupid rule making, idiotic favoritism and general ignorance of the pathetic management pussies.
Fortunately we can be as kind and crass as we like here, which inevitably pisses off people who came her to able to say whatever they thought. As long as no one starts telling us what we are allowed to opine about, things will remain as they are. Once the stupid people decided to become hall monitor,s it will deteriorate just like POA and AOPA.

Me too, in fact there was a huge stink when the yellow board transitioned to the red board over moderation and politics (for a short time I was a moderator on the red board) and when PoA opened I made an account (with the stupid rule that my username had to have six letters hence the juvenile "ie" tacked on the end) but I don't think I posted much for a while, I stayed on the red for a long time til I finally quit AOPA. I watched it get more and more and more shallow and boring, and now the exact same thing is happening to the PoA board.

The truly ironic thing is POA started due to the heavy moderation on the Red Board. Now they're doing lots of very heavy moderation themselves. I suspect the irony is lost on their management council, whatever that is.

I wonder if Chuck still owns the website? I believe he quickly tired of aviation, got out of it, but still kept the website up, to his credit. I may be mistaken though.
