Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the New York-based Congressional nominee poised to make history this November by becoming the youngest woman ever elected to the House — has come under fire for barring the media from a public town hall this past Sunday. Now, her defense has prompted even more head-scratching from critics.
The political wunderkind, who has gained national notoriety for her stunning primary win over longtime Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), took to Twitter Friday afternoon to say that she wanted to provide a forum for local residents “to feel safe discussing sensitive issues in a threatening political time.”

Excellent lineup! To be absolutely fair, though, even Libs might balk at electing Fidel’s corpse. Or perhaps not. I can easily imagine millions of them voting for a partially embalmed HRC propped up on a rolling cart, sporting her permanent rictus.

I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition...
to run in that district. But Wikipedia indicates it is almost 50% Hispanic ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York%27s_14th_congressional_district (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York%27s_14th_congressional_district) ), so not sure that would turn out well.

Ocasio-Cortez won't be able to stand up to the pressure of even a sympathetic Media who supports her Communist agenda. That is pretty weak if you ask me. It will be interesting to see if they turn on her if she keeps this up. She is the David Hogg of elected office. Fifteen minutes, and then obscurity. I wonder what outlandish things she will say to keep her name in the Media.

Negative. None of us were evicted from POA. The unmoderated SZ was shut down, and what was left of the site was moderated.

What on earth did he do? He makes great big long posts and is very opinionated but I don't recall him ever crossing the line into personal attacks or getting too spin zoney? I looked at his posts and the most recent listed is August 12 but says his last activity was this morning, so I guess they deleted whatever it was he said that got him banned?
I HATE when they don't let you discuss bannings. Makes me want to leave that place yet again.

I think you may be in error regarding the depths to which the MSM will descend. This girl is the ONE success story they have, and my guess is they will ride her like a frothing horse all the way to the HR win. We haven't heard anything yet. Once she's in office, the MSM will absolutely go ballistic and we will get 24/7 coverage of everything she says, does, and writes, including the consistency of her latest bowel movement.
The left media is desperate. In the absence of an actual statesman - they will pin their glory on the least objectionable far-left whatever the electorate dishes up. This girl could get drunk, proposition one of her male followers, strip nekkid and falling down drunk and she would still be elected, and garlanded.

If that's what got him the ban hammer I am completely confused unless they deleted some post where he said something much worse than what I saw. He didn't say anything beyond the normal speculating in threads about crashes. I've seen much worse assaults on recently deceased pilots.
