We should stop calling them all ‘Entitlements’. Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nausea are not entitlements . They are taxpayer-funded handouts, and shouldn’t be called entitlements at all. Social Security and Veterans Benefits are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients.

Note to add this: While a nice feel-good response ad, both companies are deliberately engaging in pseudo-controversy in order to appeal to customers on aspects having nothing to do with the best tools for shaving or telling time. Not that that is anything new - ad people have been doing that since the beginning of time (e.g. "sex appeal").

The trend today is mostly to NOT talk about the product but create and image, lifestyle, "feeling" etc about the products. Now companies are using Virtue Signaling to women, and minorities. They also use the put down of Men, like Gillette has in order to appeal to women, and some males in an effort to find themselves "enlightened", or "evolved".
Look what Nike did with Colin Kaepernick. They never mentioned he had a offer from the Ravens and his girlified ruined it (with Kaepernick's blessing) with a racist, slavery tweet about the Raven's owner.
I think it is a dangerous strategy, and will create negative impact to earnings. Companies exist to make money, not be social, and political statement makers, and divide us further.

HYPOCRISY and Double Standard is the corner stone of the Democrats, and liberal/progressives. The ends justify the means. They say they are not for Open Borders, yet support Amnesty which is just that. Why do they call people racist that just want border security like every other country has?

Because their propaganda arm, known as the MSM, carry their narrative for them.
Career politicians on both sides of the aisle are to blame for this. And career politicians is why we have CR's, government shutdowns and spending bills that are never balanced with the budget.
Term limits need to be the number one priority in an Article V convention, as well as a repeal of the 17th amendment.
