Well, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy might be ready to revert to form and let down the conservative base to appease Swamp Creatures and Deep State hacks. How so? By not releasing the January 6th tapes as promised.
That story comes from investigative journalist Laura Loomer, who said “I’ve been told @SpeakerMcCarthy
isn’t planning to release all of the J6 footage like he promised.He told members of Congress that it’s a “national security risk” to release the raw footage.J6 defendants who want it have to ask their rep to issue a written request on their behalf.”

Problem is, if a vacate vote is held, McCarthy won’t be removed. He knows that, and the majority of republicans know that.
McCarthy is Paul Ryan lite.
