On AUGUST 31, 2009, Old Swift Boat, whoring himself out for donations, on Huffington Post, made the claim that "scientists" proved that the Arctic would be ICE FREE by the Summer of 2013.
NASA recently PROVED that Artic Ice was INCREASING, not going away, but old sift boat can't be bothered to respond.
For those poor souls who will pretend they don't know how to look it up, so it must be untrue...

Sen. John Kerry says climate change is happening faster than we think.
In an Aug. 31, 2009, op-ed in the Huffington Post, the Massachusetts Democrat wrote that the threat of climate change "is not an abstract concern for the future."
"It is already upon us and its effects are being felt worldwide, right now," he wrote. "Scientists project that the Arctic will be ice-free in the summer of 2013. Not in 2050, but four years from now. Make no mistake: catastrophic climate change represents a threat to human security, global stability, and — yes — even to American national security."

Yeah, the consequences of anthropogenic warming have defied expectations. Hurricane deficit rather than increase, ice losses in the Antarctic instead of the Arctic, etc.
I just wish I was wrong about ocean acidification.

This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”
I know, I know. There have been so many changes in mathematics that predictions today are SO much better than they were in 1970. :rolleyes:

You have to love academic whores who change the rules and modify the science to fit their agenda...
