There is no journalism anymore. They decide what the outcome of the story needs to be (orange man bad) and g9 about writing a story to fit that. Just look at the leaked meeting transcript where they decided it was time to shift from collusion, it didn't work, now to proving that America got where it is today on the backs of slaves. They are now attempting to rewrite history to prove this.

My guess is, they are not even being taught how to write these days. You should see some of the emails I receive from my students... run on sentences, no capitalization or punctuation. Admittedly these are not the majority, but they are all too frequent... and these are high school graduates. :(

We have freedom of speech, at least until the Leftists pass "Hate Speech" laws and they get to define that hate speech is anything in which they disagree. However, that being said, who holds the Media accountable? They now accept outright lying as acceptable.
The "Russia" Coup Attempt was a Media/Democrat failure, yet nobody has paid the price for this crime of Sedition. The Media is out of control, and our only recourse is to turn them off, or not read their crap on line. Yes, I know this has existed for a long time, Hearst, etc.

I cut the cable about a year and a half ago also. I do still get tv programming via antenna, and yes then networks are just all Democrat propaganda outlets. I can't watch them. I've noticed Drudge has turned too.
The only unbiased news is from bloggers, and they are attacked as you say. All I know is the crap that I get from the MSM is far left biased, so if I believe the opposite, I probably have the truth.

How to hold the media accountable? When you criticize the media THEY are the ones hiding behind free speech. All while trying to shut down those who don’t agree with their view. I don’t see many ways to hold them accountable to truth.

The rot goes very deep. It may be that the only way to change things is from within. To expose the hypocrisy that they live in every day. Like the leaked meeting where the NYT admits that the Russia Hoax didn't work and now they have to pivot to racist, racist, racist! You can see how that leak struck a nerve by how violent the reaction was from NYT management.
There has to be a few true journalists who treasure what journalism once was who are willing to leak what's going on in upper management and with the workers. It's happening at Google and Facebook. It can happen with journalism. Exposing them for who they really are in their own words is the only way I can think of.

Agree, but he's an MD, not a PhD. He did very well at a trade school, but I wouldn't trust him with anything beyond a band-aid. Even worse, he's a psychiatrist so maybe I wouldn't even trust him with a band-aid.

The media has NO CREDIBILITY. None. They print stuff that is caustic, and has no basis in fact. Stalin killed 20 million. Hitler 6 million. Mao possibly 40 - 60 million. How many has Trump killed? Where are the death camps?
