That' not accurate.

It's more like "Why get a job when the Treasury will borrow from China for you"

That' not accurate.

It's more like "Why get a job when the Treasury will borrow from China for you and steal money from the handful of producers to pay the interest"

I wonder if that picture is genuine, or that this isn't just a temporary one off photo op? It's awesome and I wish it was everywhere.

I believe it is the work of street artist   Sabo (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/10/sabo-street-artist_n_5480517.html)

I just realized that even if Bernie Sanders were elected President, he would get nothing through Congress.  Hence, I have concluded that Bernie Sanders is a waste of time.

That is all.

That's not surprising. At his age he also has trouble getting things through his digestive system.

Maybe Congress is irrelevant now.  Maybe we the people are irrelevant now.  Obama is using Executive Orders to push more laws against owning legal firearms.  Nothing is being done about the real problem.  CRIMINALS.  Hillary or Bernie could rule by fiat.

If he is elected, I'd rather he get nothing through, than get something like Obamacare (or worse) through.

Haven't you noticed the new rules?

If the President proposes something, say "Immigration Reform" to Congress, and Congress either doesn't act (ala Gang of 8) or affirmatively votes it down (DREAM Act), then that empowers the President to just implement the proposal anyway (DACA) because "Congress failed to act"

That only happens when we have a bunch of pussies in congress.   Tip Oneill, as much as I disagreed with him, would have crapped all over these actions by a president.

Yep, thanks to Boehner/McConnell and now Paul Ryan, who refuse to uphold their constitutional duties and let the President go rogue.

Exactly.  The establishment GOP is just as responsible for this mess as the Democrats.

Becky, you may have just given the "Bern" the ammo he needs to sweep the presidential election.  He needs to run on the platforms of getting absolutely nothing done.  Zero, Zip, Zilch  Gridlock for 8 years, or until he assumes room temperature.

He would then have two constituencies.  The numbskulls that actually believe in socialism, and those of us that want to radically shrink the influence of the federal government.

Bernie, Bernie, Bernie!!!  I'm starting to feel the Bern.

This race could get really interesting. I can see both Sanders and Trump, after getting dumped by the respective Dem and Rep kingmakers, going into the general as independents. A four way election. Who would win? Would the Republican nominee stand a chance?

I don't think anyone over 25 takes Bernie seriously, but I may be wrong.  I have been wrong a lot lately.
