I suspect many know that the city of Chicago has a travel ban. Travelers from certain states are required to quarantine for 14 days if staying in Chicago. The criteria for choosing those states is the number of new daily cases per 100,000 residents. If you go over 15 / 100,000, you get on the list. Once you've been below that number for 2 weeks, you'll be removed.
I'm posting this not to tell you of Chicago's order, but because in the next week, the state of Illinois will exceed that limit and I suspect Cook County (where Chicago is) will either do it in 1 or 2 weeks. It should be fun to watch Chicago flop when they discover that Chicago is no longer authorized to travel to Chicago.
Additionally, both Florida and Texas are still well above 15, but falling fast with infection rates of .83 and .94 respectively. It is probable that both states will be removed from Chicago's restriction within a month but both Illinois and Chicago will still be above their own limit.
Not suggesting anyone would want to travel to Chicago, but they do have a couple of large airports.
