Do you remember when you were young and told an old person something and they had this stupid blank look on their face?  And you knew it was because they couldn't relate to what you just said and they were so stuck in the mud they would never be able to grasp the wild incredible thing you just told them about? So you just dropped the subject because they were so old fashioned they had no clue what you were about?

That happened to me a lot when I was young. Now I'm an old person and now I know what was really going on behind the face.  The stupid blank look is boredom because you have already been there done that and know more about it than the young person can possibly imagine and you are so over it.

While I approve of anything bad done to the monster than is Assad, the Mango Mussilini's missiles may make more malady than magnanimity.  Us at odds with the Russians benefits ISIS.  And the last thing we need is to be drawn into another foreign quagmire.  I would say that I hope the Cheeto Jesus knows what he's doing, but I am afraid I already know the answer to that one.

You do know that Mussolini, like Hitler, and Stalin was a brutal, murdering dictator, right?  Also, you do know that Jesus was a non-violent, caring, and very, very honest, and benevolent man, right?  So to reference Trump in the same paragraph as Mussolini, and Jesus is a bit ironic, no? 

The key to dealing with ISIS, and any terrorist, or terrorist state is to be forceful, not compromise, nor try to appease like Obama did.  Of course the Russian will object.  So what?  Nothing is going to happen between us, and them except Putin's respect for the U.S. just went up several notches. 

I may not agree with Obama's policies, but to insinuate that he or his wife did not show dignity and class in both physical appearance and etiquette is purely facetious.  Truly a warped viewpoint if your believe otherwise.

I saw no class in either Obama, nor Michelle.  Both were America Hating, and divisive people, that used their positions for personal gain, and were no better than the Clintons.

Nobody goes into academic research motivated by a desire to get Federal funding. Like, yeah, first thing I think of when I ask "How to get rich?" - oh yeah, go into meteorology! Doesn't everyone!?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to write successful grant proposals that pry loose any of those dollars?

The scientists may have political or personal aggrandizement motivations, but financial? Hardly.

If they want to get our keep their funding they will come up with the results their backers want.  I have also spent time in academia, and have seen it first hand. 

Its tough to run an influence peddling racket without any influence to peddle.
