Sometimes the news is far more entertaining than entertainment. It came as no surprise to discover that nuns from the same social justice order that trained our former communist leader, were arrested for STEALING from the church. They didn't just steal, though, this wasn't a case of grabbing a few hundred dollars from the offering plate. It was an obama style theft. All that supposed patina of justice and concern for the poor was just a cover for their real intent, which - just like the obamas - was taking all they could while the taking was good.
It was reported recently that a couple of nuns out in Southern California had ripped off the Catholic school where they worked for many years to the tune of at least $500,000. They spent the money on gambling sprees to Las Vegas, among other pursuits. The habit-less sisters, who were henned up together in a Torrance townhouse inside a gated community (the neighbors, according to the Los Angeles Times, wondered how they afforded their matching Volvos), hail from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet — a “social justice” religious order, naturally.
But even richer than that, it is the order that played an important role in Obama’s Alinskyite education. It was at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, a college founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, that Obama went for a ten-day seminar in the 1980s to learn Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals. As reported in No Higher Power: Obama’s War on Religious Freedom, the Gay Mafia socialist from Chicago, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, paid for Obama’s trip out to Mount St. Mary’s College for that event.

The Catholic Church is in some serious Schiff. Factions throughout it are trying to get homosexual marriage declared a sacrament, and of course the powder keg under the Pope is set to ignite. He’s been complicit, apparently, in all manner of coverup and obfuscation of abuse, not only against children but of seminarians and others throughout the hierarchy.
Leftist logic seems to be if it feelz good, do it. Principles and practices such as chastity and self restraint and virtue? Quaint, but outmoded.

The Pope is a devout COMMUNIST, and HYPOCRITE. The leadership of the Catholic church is complicit in Pedophilia, and Child Abuse. They should all go to JAIL. They are the "Penn State" of religions, covering up decades, or perhaps centuries of Criminal Abuse.
I was raised Catholic, but won't go near a Catholic Church anymore. I am not judging anyone else that chooses to do so. I am just not big on organized religion in general, but I digress.

I won't engage in blanket attacks on the Catholic Church. Some, not all, priests abused boys, and I will never engage in witch hunts that paint everyone with the same brush. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Most priests are good guys. But now all are under a microscope of suspicion and thought guilty first. Now it's okay to do a Kavanaugh on all these guys?
I do think the current Pope is way too leftist and there are plenty of Catholics who are very unhappy with him.

Thank you Rush. That’s my take. I’m Catholic, and my wife, daughter and I all had 12 years of Catholic education. None of us have had a single hint of suspicion of any priest that we have come across in our lifetimes that could sexually abuse anyone. It was always possible, but usually when there’s fire, you see smoke.
In fact, my dad was close with the Redemptorist order, which are missionaries. They had a retreat house near where we lived, and at any holiday, any priests at this retreat house (some from other parts of the world) would come to our house to celebrate. That’s also how I learned to tend bar at age 8. So I’ve had a ton of interaction with priests. They were all good men in my book. None were perfect, all were sinners, but no abusers to my knowledge.
As for the state of affairs in the Catholic Church, we are in a crisis with liberal reformists, and a loss of Catholic (vs generic Christian) identity. And this pope is no friend of traditional Catholic identity if it interferes with liberal, socialist inclinations. We are in a crisis for our soul.
I’ve recently joined the Knights of Columbus. I’m not into all of it, but we’ll see where this goes.

Two priests leave a restaurant after having a nice dinner and wine together. As they're driving down the road they come up to a police roadblock.
A policeman approaches their vehicle with a flashlight and taps on the window motioning to roll it down. "Evening!" says the officer.
"Good evening officer - what seems to be the trouble"? asks the 1st priest in the drivers seat.
"We're looking for a couple of pedophiles", the officer explained.
The 1st priest rolls up his window as the police officer watches him have a discussion with the 2nd priest in the passenger seat. The officer, waiting patiently starts to become concerned because their conversation seemed to never end.
Finally, the window rolls down, and the 1st priest says.
"Okay, when do we start"?

You are spot on. But unfortunately, that's the way the world works. Ask any "good" "peaceful" Muslim. We all know they are out there, but we all ask why they stand by and let their religion be perverted.
Where were all those "good priests" while this was going on under their noses? Especially the Cardinals and Bishops?
On the other hand, I have no problem with the faithful Catholic flock, as long as they were unaware.

That's my problem with the Catholic Church. Yes, there are "good priests", but many, if not most of them knew about what was going on with boys. My perception is many priests are Gay. I don't know if that is true, however, a lot of people maintain that Gays are NOT more likely to be Pedophiles. I don't have any stats to prove otherwise, but my belief is that Gays ARE more likely to be pedophiles. To me, being Gay is a from of sexual deviation, and pedophilia is just another step in that direction, and possibly not a big leap for some of these priests.
Again, I don't know if my perceptions are true or not. I'm just throwing it out there to see if anyone agrees, or disagrees with this OPINION.

Setting aside the issue of sexual orientation of priests as a general rule, the Catholic Church has been complicit for decades in hidin* out priests who abused children and women. That is not debatable. It is a fact, hitch is why apologists for the church wish to change the topic from guilt to sexual orientati9n and a host of other things having nothing to do with the church hiding criminals and sexual predators from justice.
Just Like the democrat (communist’j party, the Catholic Church deserves zero respect, or any credibility until it takes drastic action against its worst offenders and proves that the church has mended their criminal ways.
