Go back to the ACA, aka "Obamacare". It detailed requirements for buildings and homes as well. Don't have it in front of me, but it's requirements were onerous.
This is yet another tool of the DCP to destroy the free market and capitalism.

The other thing is "Simple, scalable pricing". Certifying a small business is only $2,730 a year. $4,200 for larger businesses. $12,600 for stadiums. Yay! And you get to re-certify every year.

Likewise. This celebrity worship thing is sick. Same with athletes, musicians, and of course these actors. I used to have about 30-35 pro athletes in my tax practice for about 10 years. Some are dickheads, some are decent people, and all put their pants on one leg at a time. Just like the rest of the population. Not a single time did I give a shit if they were anything but a tax client. Well in some cases a tax client who could bench press 500#.

Yep. One was an NFL offensive lineman. Said his max bench press was 505, when he was at Michigan State.
305 is impressive! I never hit 300. I think I maxed at 285 or 295. Long arms are a disadvantage in bench press, but an advantage in dead lift.

Correct. These fake “certifications” get particularly onerous, damaging and expensive when they are adopted by governmental entities.
Same with “Leeds” certified green buildings. That tells me that the urinals stink and are water free, heat or a/c shuts off on evenings and weekends (sucks for overachievers who work late or on weekends), and the rent is higher for the privilege of renting in a green building. Smh
