The fact that the Dems have done everything possible to oppose investigations and challenges, going as far as prosecution of active, law-license-carrying skeptics, tells me everything I need to know.

Tarik Johnson, one of the Capitol police on that day, tells his story. He was suspended afterwards because he wore a MAGA hat someone put on his head, which he kept on only because he thought it would make rioters less likely to attack him. He was not given a medal like the other officers were, and he didn’t even vote for Trump in 2020 (but did in 2016).
He says the acting chief on that day, Yogananda Pittman, failed on that day to do her job and he was the one who ended up ordering the evacuation of the House and Senate.

Forty thousand hours of video is a lot. To date now, we've only seen some snippets show up on X. Lizzy is already on X attacking those. I would like to see some group(s) with the time and money stitch together much of the footage to give a clear picture of what happened and when.

There are times of violence, a true riot, and times of peacefully just walking around. Out of all those thousands of hours you can pick and choose which snippets to focus on and construct a distorted view of what really happened.
I watched it unfold in real time on that day. I’m convinced the violent ones were mostly Antifa and/or FBI plants. As far as I can tell the only violence inside the building was where Babbitt got shot, and I think the ones breaking down that glass were Antifa. I could be wrong. I could have missed something and I’m not going to go back and watch it all again. But I think only a small percent of the time was there violence on the inside. Outside there was more and one reason was because the police were tear gassing and shooting rubber bullets, pissing off the crowd. Even so, the great majority of people there were non-violent.
