Now that the board of trustees have kicked her bigoted ass to the curb for her blatant anti-semitism, what is next for the academic idiot?
The Babylon Bee is suggesting lizzy go head up the hamas institute of technology. I'll bet lizzy will look hot in a burka covering her from head to toe, and when she learns to submit to her betters, she can become the radical, psychotic islamic bitch she always wished.
Just because there is no such thing is no reason for lizzy the bigoted idiot to rest of her laurels. She needs to head out and start up the new HIOT - hamas institute of technology and begin offering expert guidance in:

The university said Magill will remain a tenured faculty member at the university’s Carey Law School. She has agreed to keep serving as Penn’s leader until the university names an interim president.

I’m sure she will find a less visible place at Penn yet somehow end up to be the second highest compensated employee in the Pennsylvania University system.
Thank God these donors are wising up. That’s the ONLY reason she was fired. I’m sure she was treated like a conquering hero when she returned to campus after doing battle with big bad Elise Stefanik.

Both :) Academic misconduct (like faking research data), sexual misconduct, or some felonies like misappropriating funds can get you removed. Even if you suck at teaching they most they can do is give you an office in the basement and (ironically) overload you with teaching (which you suck at) until you leave.
Tenure should allow faculty to say and do research on things that are currently unpopular. That's "academic freedom". Yeah, she should not be in a position that represents her university and say something as stupid and wrong as she did. She was rightly removed from that position. However, as tenured faculty she should have the freedom to say it. Stupid and wrong as it is.

Depends on the research and who's footing the bill. Shrimps running on treadmills or condom use of gay people in South America, no. Researching some alternative cure for cancer, yes. I also believe in free speech, but also being held accountable for your speech. Personally, fuck all these leftist "academics". For years they have been attacking conservative speakers who have been trying to speak on campus accusing them of hatred and inciting violence. Now they are trying to hide behind free speech while defending terrorists who murder babies and innocent people. They deserved to be fired.

Tenure is an artificial construct, and shouldn’t be bulletproof. If you cause discredit to your institution, create or embrace a physically dangerous culture, or damage fundraising or recruiting because you have diarrhea of the mouth, they should be free to can your ass.

In the case of the idiot president (not FJB, the university one) there are four reasons for termination of a tenured professor:
Incompetence
Immoral conduct
Violation of school policies
Negligence
Penn has a school policy of:
The University of Pennsylvania prohibits unlawful discrimination based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected class.
It would be easy to show that by her actions she discriminates against Jews and therefore violates school policy. She should be dismissed from the university.
Tenure should not be a get out of jail free card. I personally don't believe in tenure and that professors should be periodically reviewed and if found lacking, terminated.

I gotta think tenure was from the old days when to be a professor you adhered to a higher standard of moral and professional conduct than expected from the general public and tenure was earned and deserved. Most professors were probably male and so had families to support. Professor salaries are lower than other white collar professions so tenure as job security was a trade off for the lower pay. It made sense. Today the quality of many professors is in the toilet and it’s become a lazy person’s easy mode career for the nonproductive.
