I still have no received an answer on what percentage of climate change some think is man made, and what is natural. Also, if there are wide swings in natural climate change, which we know there are, how can we tell if any "fixes" we put in place are working? Are the fixes just reduced use of fossil fuels? If so, what will the taxes, fees, and other revenue do towards fixing climate change. What are governments doing with this revenue? How are they measuring the effect of whatever they are doing on climate change?
It will be clear that their efforts were successful if we are not all dead in 12 years and be the justification for more "severe" actions to keep us from death.

You have not lived until the dog "indicates" on your vehicle and they take everything you brought for 4 days in the sand dunes out of your vehicle and spread it out on the side of the road in front of everyone driving by. Then when they don't find anything because there never was anything they tell you you are free to go and wave their hand at your stuff spread all over the place. This was a very unpleasant almost 4 hours by the time I got repacked and loaded.
Secure the border so I am not subject to search based on a stop where everyone is stopped.

Just workers that don’t have to go to work for a while, or some that do have to work with deferred pay, but all will be paid later anyway
As far as I know they have not been paid yet and it's past the date they are due pay, thus I consider them unpaid currently. When they have received the back pay they will no longer be unpaid. You may see it differently.
I was looking at the public relations benefit of this.
I have little sympathy as I believe the public worker unions should have something set up to help with this kind of situation let alone the idea that people need to quit spending more than they have instead of saving. I don't know if our economy could stand the not spending more than you make thing though.

Charge admission. $10 for the cheap seats and whatever the market will bear for the suites. After expenses, donate all the money to charity, or the wall. Wouldn't it be cool to see a few hundred thousand people cheering Trump!
I'd take the Bo there, wherever it is, and buy about a $200 seat.
Donate the money directly to unpaid but forced to work fed employees.

What is so bad to the Democrats about a Wall? It certainly can't hurt border security. So my point remains. Why are the Democrats against border security in general?
To me giving money for other methods to secure the border just means more bureaucracy, more corruption, more government do nothing jobs, and maybe more questionable technology.
Until we stop this catch and release BS sensors and drones let us know where to send the welcome wagon for the new residents/voters. That's what border security means to them, not allowing new residents/voters to become injured on the dangerous journey.

The only thing more electronic sensors and drones does without a wall is make it easier to send the welcome wagon, um I mean border patrol to help them out of any trouble they've gotten themselves and families into, along with transportation to a release site in the US.
Build the wall, make it easier for legal workers to cross the border, charge said workers a "border wall surcharge" in addition to any other fees and declare victory. Mexico paying for the wall in installments, it's the american way. Nobody pays up front for anything these days.
