I’m a life member, and the NRA needs a house cleaning. They need an ass kicking.
But “Dissolving” the NRA is a punitive political move to silence my voice.

I don’t think GOA and SAF are as politically active and connected as the NRA. I really wish they were.
Her goal is to silence MY voice, and she may succeed.

The MEDIA/Democrat Alliance has done a wonderful job of demonizing the NRA as the voice of only Gun manufacturers when in reality it represents its individual members. Also they make it seem the NRA is this huge donor and influential. They are small potatoes compared to the Act Blues and SEIU's of the world. This is another example of political virtue signaling and pandering to the loonie Left.

So if the NRA is dissolved can't they just reincorporate in Texas or some other gun-friendly state? Nothing changes. I assume that they pay state taxes, so NY gets less. Win Win.

That’s a great question as I knew they were located in Fairfax County, VA.
Just checked Wiki. They were “first chartered in the state of New York on November 16, 1871.” I didn’t notice a change in incorporation and am too busy to look it up further.

This is the new game of the progressives, to use the law against anyone they disagree by filing lawsuit after lawsuit in an effort to wear them down and defeat them. And in this interest, we the taxpayers are paying for it.

Just checked Wiki. They were “first chartered in the state of New York on November 16, 1871.” I didn’t notice a change in incorporation and am too busy to look it up further.
As far as I can tell, they are still incorporated in NY. They are a tax-exempt charity so no NY taxes. Since they are physically located elsewhere anyway, I don't see why they can't just incorporate out of NY. It's just paperwork. But I'm certainly no expert on the subject.

NRA is toast. Even if they survive the lawsuit in a legal sense, the cost to defend the lawsuit, along with declining membership, they will cease to exist. I don't even think immediate removal of the president and the board of directors will stop the ship from sinking.

Welcome to the new Amerika.
Political prosecutions have taken on a whole new meaning. Did you ever think in your wildest dreams we would be seeing what has happened to Manafort, Gen Flynn and Roger Stone?
Or how about the Obama Administration and Spygate? Or even how BHO used the IRS to target organizations he disagreed with? Just look at the prosecutions going on against people who tried to protect their businesses or homes. Look at the business owners being arrested and having their businesses shut down by government decree. Look at the churches shuttered while casinos are free to operate. Criminals are released from prisons while peaceful law abiding citizens are locked up.
And where are the conservatives? The ones we elected and said they would defend our rights. They're cowering in the corners hoping BLM or ANTIFA doesn't target them, or that the MSM doesn't go after them.
Right now as I write this, many levels of government are already introducing, and requiring government employees to undergo training on racial bias. Just how long do we believe that at some point this will trickle down to the rest of us? What will be the penalties for not cooperating?
