It's probably not false positive because of the connection to what's her name, and they both (Donald and Melania) are positive. But on the other hand, it's possible that of all positive tests of asymtomatic people there are five times as many false positives as actual cases, so if none of these three develop any symptoms, they could all be false positives.
Other than that my reaction is a bad word that begins with F. Trump's rallies are a galvanizing force and this could not have come at a worse time for the election.

He actually has it, takes HCQ, Zinc & the Z-Pack and recovers quickly proving the effectiveness of that treatment and gets to tout that on TV.
The response to that could be "this was just a hoax, he never had it and it was just a sympathy play"

People are showing their true colors today. I terminated one FB acquaintance today due to her post about Trump getting Covid. And she’s a Canuck for God’s sake. She needs to worry about her own man child PM and not obsess about Trump.

I'm of two or three different minds about this. I'd hate it if he died. I don't want anyone to die, especially not him. He'd become a martyr for all the wrong causes.
I suspect he'll get over it quickly. Although obese he has tremendous vitality that will see him through, I think. That said, if he does that will just empower everyone on the right like you who think the virus is no big deal and we should just open up everything.
Thus, against my own leanings I rather hope he has a hard time of it. Not because I want him to suffer, that is the last thing I really want. But if he has a case like Boris Johnson's it will wake up a sizable part of America to the predicament we're in. And that segment of American is in dire need of such a wake-up.

Yes to everything you said. He could show improvement and then suddenly go downhill, that has been common. Also, there’s been confusing reports about how he’s being treated and the timing of the treatment. This could go in any direction from speedy recovery to death, but statistically, even if the death rate is 5% in his age group that means he has a 95% chance of surviving.

The mission need not be murder. Someone could accomplish a lot by placing blame on Trump himself, which in turn supports Biden’s ads that the 200,000 American Covid deaths were entirely Trump’s fault. Should he get seriously ill it could cause Republicans to not vote. And of course I think another serious motive is the delay of the ACB nomination until not just after the election, but into 2021. Finally, just being sick should stop Trump from going to a dozen or more rallies with thousands of fans and voters before Election Day. Or so they thought.
In fact Trump’s quick turnaround and the steadfastness of Mitch McConnell has really, REALLY hurt the deep states’ ability to put Trump into a box, literally or figuratively.

We should know tomorrow at 1500. The prosecutor will be issuing charging decision in the Officer Joseph Mensah shooting.
Mensah, who is black, shot a 17 year old hood rat who was running into Mayfair Mall with a rifle, and he shot at the officers.
