Can't be.  We have already been told by the experts that polls taken 6 months ago are extremely accurate and they show Trump losing.  ::)

And we were told by Trump loyalists that polls six months out were less than worthless. Which is it?

Yeah, polls this early are pretty meaningless, but less so than the ones you were touting as accurate a few months ago.

I do believe these polls are very wrong.  They have Trump up by around 3%.  I believe by election day, Trump will be up by around 15% or more.  Unless he has some sort of "accident".

But don't be too disheartened.  If Trump is nearly as bad as you think, the Rs can put together a nice mainstream candidate to take him on in 4 years and we can resume politics as usual.  If Clinton wins, I doubt the Rs would have a chance for at least 8.

The first paragraph is telling:

Quote from: Fox News
Donald Trump tops Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, according to a new Fox News Poll that also finds majorities of voters feel both frontrunners lack strong moral values and will say anything to get elected.

Now that he's the presumptive nominee and has been for a couple of weeks, I think we're going to start seeing more polls that either put them closer to even or perhaps even Trump ahead in a few, like we are with this one. Let's see how this progresses over the summer.
