No "Governor", the Dams breaking is not due to man made climate change but from YOU and your Democrat cronies using funds earmarked for infrastructure improvement for VOTE BUYING Social and Economic "Justice" PROGRAMS. Now, you are seeing the effects of that!
On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) discussed the flooding in her state and said that 500-year floods, like the one that the state is currently experiencing, are “becoming more and more frequent. We’ve got climate change as a part of that.” And that “old infrastructure” is also an issue as well.
Whitmer said, “Well, we are concerned and we’re watching it very closely, and we know, too, that there is more precipitation in the forecast. And so, we’re taking this very seriously. I’ll just acknowledge, the fact that we’re in the midst of a global pandemic. On top of that, dealing with a 500-year flood event, which are, of course, becoming more and more frequent. We’ve got climate change as a part of that. But also, old infrastructure is, as well.”
Oh, so "old infrastructure as well", said as an after thought, but it is the Climate Change that is the real culprit, along with the "Pandemic". Right......

So the State of Michigan was fine with a hydro plant operating with SAFETY violations and without the required licenses? If so that is Misfeasance and Malfeasance in which I would think the Governor is ultimately responsible. I guess Man Made Climate Change overrides all that though. ::)

“Old infrastructure” = something the Feds are deemed responsible for.
Except for airports, US Highways and the interstate system, federal moneys should not go to any states’ own internal infrastructure.
