Totally cannot get on board with the optimism in these last few posts!

Midterms showed us clearly where the trend is going. The kook Sinema is winning in AZ as they count. Will anything really be done about FL fraud? $69 million spent on Beto and he came very close. Look at MN! Ellison and Ohmar were ELECTED! As was the airhead Octavio Cortez! Come on, people!

Education controls the majority of the young. Socialism and open borders are the new hope for all!

The kind of bucks the globalist backers of the left have is inexhaustible. The constant barrage of falsehoods and criticism about the President and Republicans has not let up for one millisecond since the 2016 election. And it will not let up.

I’m not saying there won’t be a miracle. I pray there is. A massive exposure of the controlling evil, a takedown of top Dems for sedition or felonies, the mask ripped off the globalists’ nefarious dealings and deceptions, I hope, I hope!

But barring that, nope.

Yabut, why is this guy even remotely associated with the fedguv? How did he get the high level staff job to put the admin in this kind of situation? I know a lot of attys, and it's easy to spot the slime in about 30 seconds. There is just no reason why we can't have an honest member of the BAR up there. It's like they trolled the night court docket and found the most sleazy ambulance chaser they could find.

Oh bullshit!

Maybe you would be happier with some lawyer from Morgan and Morgan.

What part of recess appointment don't you get?  Also, how about trying to look at the bigger picture of what's happening right now?  This guy is in a temp position, and he can do some serious house cleaning without repercussion before the nomination of the AG takes place.

If he does a great job, he himself may get the nomination.  But my take right now is he is the hatchet man sent in to clean up after Sessions.

Want to send the closest liberal person you know into a complete meltdown? Tell them Trump isn't taking anyone's rights away, he's just implementing common sense immigration control.

Well, I'm not on that website, but for once I clicked the link because it seems most people here are rejects from that site. As I know none of the background, and none of the foreground, I would say we have a fifth-columnist in our midst, and there is some monitoring of our posts here, for content which paints the mod or mods, or admins in a bad light. And they will take any microscopic slight by a member here as a reason to ban.

Sadly, I clicked on 'recent posts' and found a rather horrific story about someone being turned in to FAA for a social media comment. What a sad fucking state of affairs.

Anyone here want to turn me in here's your ammo: I hate the FAA with a white hot passion. I think they are mostly a bunch of useless mouths, sucking at the federal teat, and don't give a wet dribbly shit for 'safety' or helping pilots or plane owners. I also think the US in the means of the FBI/CIA/NSA/BATF and a bunch of other agencies are way, way, way out of control with electronic media. And with other forms, but surely with electronic media. To the collective 'crats at the fedguv I say to you: Consume quantities of feces, become ill, sit in the corner, and die quietly.

A lot of fun was had on the beer threads but the mods were not amused even though the puns were flowing both ways and good naturedly so.
Some of those puns and posts on the beer thread were epic, really! When I check POA, I always look first for locked threads as they are the most interesting.

And I disagree with people using sex smear allegations with flimsy to no evidence for political gain. And using those same smears to permantly damage an individual.

Yet, we have some “conservatives” see it as a means to an end if it works for them.

Fuckin’ hypocrites.
Which conservatives are we talking about? Because I don't know of any conservatives that think a sex smear tactic is appropriate.

He would not be wishing it if she would retire. It's only because she refuses to, so her death would be the only way to remove her. (Other than impeachment and I don't see that coming, not for her, maybe the left will try it for Kavanaugh though.)  Like it or not the SCOTUS is political and therefore has been drawn into the ideological battlefield. You are right, it is horrible that it has become what it is. When the stakes are this high, wishing defeat of an enemy by whatever means necessary is understandable. And wishing someone would die of natural causes is not at all the same thing as trying to kill them yourself and it's certainly not the same thing as wishing death by slow torture like some on the left are wishing for anyone on the right. One is sadistic and the other is just hoping God will hurry along what is in the near future anyway. Big difference.
I would hope people wouldn't wish death on a sitting Supreme Court justice for any reason. She is still capable of performing her duties, and is in good health so far as everyone knows (whether or not you agree with her decisions is not the same as her being capable of performing them).

It also doesn't "have" to come to anything. Decency can prevail and people can wish that she retire, but wishing for her death is extreme. It's very difficult to claim that conservatives are on the right side when they are wishing for the death of someone for political purposes. Conservatives rightly decry the left for their "the ends justify the means" mentality, and yet that is exactly what I am seeing here. We can be better, as conservatives, as Americans, and as people.
