With the Hillary thing, he doesn't get to say and it might be an interesting set up on his part.  Let's say Jan 22 comes and the new FBI director reopens the investigation and after some time says there is sufficient evidence to recommend charges so the new AG moves forward and gets an indictment.

Meantime the MSM goes nuts with "you told us you wouldn't pursue this" to which he replies, "it is not my decision and it would not be right for me to interfere because you guys would be all over me for telling the DOJ what to do and not do"

The fact that several battleground states were not immediately called surprises me and would actually seem to be good for Trump.

I mean OH, PA, NH, NC not called yet, and FL looking like it may go red?

Still not expecting a win but surprised so far.

The polls close in less than an hour. I figured we could consolidate states being called into one thread. I'll update this post as the results come in.
Good idea, and thanks for starting the thread.
But,  SOME polls close in an hour.  And the initial results will say "with 2% of the vote in, . . .".
It will probably be 10:00 or later at best before we start seeing any meaningful results.   And as far as I can tell, the one that really matters is Florida.  If trump loses Florida, the night is essentially over (barring a miracle).  If Trump wins Florida, then the anxiety continues.

Not every local election is a federal election.

Sent from my iPhone . Squirrel!!
But every Federal election is a local election.

There is no such thing as a Federal Election.  You vote in your County according to local election laws.

The people who get prosecuted for security violations knowingly compromise material that they knew to be classified.
Sorry but this is clearly and demonstrably false, intent is irrelevant in crimes involving mishandling of classified information.  Intent does not show up in the law/regulations governing mishandling of classified information, Comey made up that up out of whole cloth when he first let her off the hook.

The applicable statute deals with gross negligence, which was in fact proven, intent is not present in the mishandling law.  The entire and only point to having a law dealing with negligence is to be able to charge and punish for negligence which is unrelated to intent (intent is featured in other laws relating to treason, spying, etc.), but not negligence.  Comey did not say she was innocent, far from it he went on a 15 minute rant elaborating a litany of her errors, all he said was no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges - two totally and completely different things.

All this does is continue to serve as a direct reminder that there are two sets of rules, one applicable for we mere peons and the apparatchiks of power that do not support the Left (or fall out of favor for whatever reason), and another for the high muckity mucks.  The system is indeed rigged, if only someone were pointing that out.... oh wait

In only 8 years this administration has succeeded in politicizing, weaponizing and ruining nearly every institution of power in the US, the IRS, the DoD, State Department, DoJ, EPA, HUD/HHS, and now even the FBI - it is the most pathetic period of time in the history of our nation IMO.

Does it make you feel better if your President regurgitates the plainly obvious?

He corrected the interviewer by saying "when you vote, you are a citizen yourself."  He stressed it but didn't go over the top.  I speculate that's because he assumed the interviewer was smart enough to know her blunder.

Here's the rub.  The OP and several others stated that 44 (haha!) and the "mean Democrat regime" will stop at nothing to get HRC elected POTUS 45.  Ok.  Fine.  Except that can't happen.  Only US Citizens can vote in federal elections.  In state and local elections, however, that isn't necessarily the case.

Some states and localities do allow documented and undocumented aliens voting privileges.  I can't remember off the top of my head if the interviewer made her question explicitly regarding federal elections or any election.  But I do think Obama assumed the interviewer was referring to federal elections.

You do realize that all elections are state elections, correct?  Each state controls its own voting, and does not separate out the election of President/Vice President. When I voted a couple of weeks ago I voted in local, county, state and for President.

Federal Election is a bit misleading since there is not really such a thing.  Each state cast votes for a president/vice president and the candidate with the majority gets a vote from the state electors of the electoral college.

So, if an illegal can vote in a state election, how is he prevented from casting a vote for President?

Does your state actually run two separate elections?

The funny thing is with all the Trumpkins, they all rail about me being against Trump, but you know what they don't do?  They don't refute what I say, because I'm telling the truth about their Orange Lord.
Don't confuse deliberately ignoring with failure to refute.  Few here will defend Trump very far past his ability to serve as the anti-Clinton.

I loved the video. That guy can hold his own and well-articulate his ideas. But he'd make a terrible Press Secretary if that video is any indication. He'd be constantly at war with journalists, ruining the administration's ability to get a reasonably-unfiltered message through a modern media that loves to filter the hell out of things, especially if they're pissed or have a shiny distraction to focus on.
Respectfully disagree, IMO that confrontation is exactly what is needed to cut through the constant manipulation by the partisan lamestream media - like when Reagan would bypass the opinion keepers and go straight to the people.  While it is significant that the hackery is being exposed on a daily basis the only way to destroy the pretenders in the 4th Estate and re-establish a free and unbiased media is to do battle with them, each and every day on their turf and let them continue to self-immolate, then go to the people with the straight skinny.

Hey, it is my fantasy, let me live it.

Can you imagine the heads exploding on all sides?

British accent, gay, conservative, well-spoken and totally unafraid to take it to the media in their face in a take-no-prisoners kind of way.

Would be awesome to watch the lamestream media and special snowflake perpetual offense brigade SJW's try to figure out if they could attack him or not.
