if a 9/11 style attack happened tomorrow, what do you think the response would be from our politicians on either side of the aisle? I know how citizens would respond, or at least I think I do.

If the attack were again made by Muslims, leftist pols would defend it, I believe. There is a chilling, seemingly inexorable pattern visible in politicians’ responses to Christchurch vs their responses to Sri Lanka.
Even William, the next King of England, visited Christchurch in sympathy but not Sri Lanka.

If people were thoroughly pissed off following another radical Muslim terror attack the politicians of the communist (democrat) vein would split.
Scum like Omar would ramp up their pathetic bigotry and lies, while the more practical asshole communists would avoid making even more enemies, then go back to pretending that the Muslim invasion was peaceful and that they are victims.

I wouldn't let my child attend far leftist, and globalist indoctrination. What are they trying to hide by not letting parents attend, or at least a few to monitor the propaganda.

I suspect that many of those parents are relieved that they don't have to attend, and they can just leave it to the government to raise their kids.

Question ... is there something going on in the Midwest that reflects badly on Trump right now? Bunch of liberal friends hinting at it the other day with smirks and eye rolls but they didn’t say anything definitive because they know I’m a conservative.
Of course, to them everything, including the weather, reflects badly on Trump.

It could be the Media (almost all liberal/progressive Trump haters) are banging the drum that Trump will lose the Midwest and other states he won this election. They want to make it a self fulfilling prophecy. Your friends sound intellectually challenged.
