Andrew Yang wants to give everyone $1000 a month basic income. To prove that this is a good thing, he's going to do an experiment and give one Iowan $1000 a month and see how it impacts their life. It's a "freedom dividend." Oh yeah, that's a valid experiment.

There are probably tons of people who would quit any attempt at work if they got a free $1000 a month. Sounds really great for the economy doesn't it.
