For several decades the Democrats on every level of government have used "The Public Good" and "Public Safety" as a way to remove individual Rights, freedoms and liberties. Often they are upheld by corrupt, Leftist Activist Courts. Why isn't the Democrat leadership of Seattle concerned about that now?
Police have been unable to respond to “rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts” occurring in Seattle’s East Precinct, which authorities abandoned on Monday, leaving the area in the hands of activists who set up their own police-free “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” (CHAZ), Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said Thursday.
The police chief is now working on a plan to reopen the precinct, telling reporters calls for service “have more than tripled.”
“These are responses to emergency calls — rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts that have been occurring in the area that we’re not able to get to,” she said.
Emergency response times in the area have tripled, she noted, going from just over five minutes to 18 minutes.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan on Thursday defended the protesters who have declared an “autonomous zone” on the city’s streets as “patriotic.”
In her remarks to the press, Durkan also said President Trump’s threat to send in federal forces to crack down on the protesters was “unconstitutional and illegal.”
“Unfortunately, our President wants to tell a story about domestic terrorists who have a radical agenda and are promoting a conspiracy that fits his law-and-order initiatives,” Durkan said, according to Patch.
“It’s simply not true. Lawfully gathering and expressing First Amendment rights, demanding we do better as a society, and providing true equity for communities of color is not terrorism. It’s patriotism.”
She was referring to an area in the city’s Capitol Hill zone,
Really? Lawfully gathering, while rioting, looting, burning and illegally occupying buildings and streets?
