No sure what section to put this in, but since this had me flying, I put it here. James Burton and Bruce Springsteen, at Roy Orbison Concert. A Classic...

Not a Springsteen fan at all.

And I thought I was the only non-fan of him. He sounds like he's pushing out a turd every time he sings.

Make that three.
Funny, fans think "Born in the USA" is some kind of patriotic anthem.

+1
I'm classically trained.
most of the popular "music" is crap.

I dislike his voice and I don't like his songs. Plus, his guitar playing sucks, and I grew up playing in rock bands so I know. I don't understand why he is popular.

I'm not a fan of all things Springstten. Especially the "brassy" stuff with the "E Street Band".
But I really admire some of his more stripped-down, mostly acoustic stuff.
All of Nebraska, for instance. Much of "The Rising".
The man can really turn a lyric and weave a tale , as in "Walk Like A Man" and "Sinaloa Cowboys" and "Highway Patrolman".
Anyway, different strokes!

Roy Orbison is great. I love the Sun Records stuff. Springsteen sucks.
