yep, feel free to ignore all evidence to the contrary

Shaking your cane at whippersnappers, overhearing Paul Bunyan in a Canadian outdoor store, and describing how the world has always worked, are not evidence of anything out of the ordinary.

Who's a lie-beral?

I used to think, naively I guess, that liberal and conservative people just had different life philosophies- you know, tomato-tomahto...  Since Bush II I've become more politically astute, and more recently under the dictator Obama have come to realize this difference is a life and death struggle, quite literally.  Far Lefties, as far as I'm concerned, are a clear and present danger to this nation. The useful idiots in the middle disgust me.

So, basically, everyone sucks but you and your ilk? Unlike you, once I aged beyond the self-centered teenage years, I came to understand that there are other legitimate viewpoints from my own. And while it is possible that "far lefties" represent a viewpoint that would end life as we know it, just as it's possible that "far righties" represent the same, it is far more likely that they simply hold starkly opposing but often-valid viewpoints from your own. I mark this as a more likely scenario based on the number of people, over a substantial length of time, who surmised that opposing viewpoints would be the end our country. Obviously, that wasn't the case.

Bringing kids to the range has any relevance to a play about killing Jews?  You are as off base as Jaybird in this matter.

Not really. It's all about instilling values on the kids. One is teaching their kids to be ready to face some kind of imaginary, or hypothetical danger and the other is preparing them to face a very real and inevitable danger. The Israeli, Palestinian conflict has now been going on for generations and some of those kids will grow up to face the Israeli army.

It's all a matter of perspective. To us here in the states, It seems all so clear and simple, but to people that live there and grew up in it, it's very different. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the Israelis in this issues, but I am not so blind to not be sympathetic to the Palestinian people that are stuck in this mess. Religion really isn't the cause here, but it does make it worse for sure.

Spin Zone / Win for net neutrality

Big win for net neutrality. Trump, speaking in opposition to the decision, said if he becomes president he'll build a huge firewall and make hackers pay for it.

SERIOUS case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).
You remind me of Little Jimmy.
Ad hominem.  I provide actual facts, you simply attack the messenger.

Generally a sign that you have no real arguments.

CBS News just reported on this:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-alter-ego-barron/2016/05/12/02ac99ec-16fe-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html

Have not listened to it yet.

From this attached article and I guess in Trump's book-

Quote
Trump wrote in “The Art of the Deal,” his bestseller. “The point is that if you are a little different, or a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you.”

Trump did not describe using false identities to promote his brand, but he did write about why he strays from the strict truth: “I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration — and a very effective form of promotion.”

Pretty much sums up Trump's campaign. Say whatever it takes to get media coverage and the rabble roused. I think there are a lot of Trump supporters that are in for a big let down should he become president.

I'll hold my nose and vote for the Hildebeast for two reasons.  The first is I think she'd actually make an impressive POTUS.  All these guys lie their heads off, so I'm not that worried about that.  The second is if she does become POTUS its going to be so fun listening to you guys bitch about it!

CNBC almost made some of the Republican candidates seem "Presidential" which is a hard thing to do.

Hillary does scare me because a lot of people will vote for her just because she is a woman.  However, I don't think she is electable unless there is a lot of voter fraud like the last election.

Love this. Yes, please keep repeating GOP talking points about massive voting fraud. The only problem is that you have no proof. On the other hand, southern states are doing a terrific job in disenfranchising poor voters who can't afford or acquire a drivers license. Even better, how about closing all the DMVs in counties that have a majority of minority voters.
