Spin Zone / Now what?
« on: October 12, 2022, 10:21:34 AM »
I try to go to Kathryn’s Report and it wants me to agree to terms and sign in to confirm my age?  Has she been hacked again?  I’m not clicking on that shit.  I wish somebody knew Kathryn and could find out what’s going on.

Spin Zone / 1984
« on: October 12, 2022, 05:01:16 AM »
The movie “1984”, remake in 1985, is now streaming on Amazon Prime.  WOW.  We are much further along than I thought, we are almost all the way there.

*We have the constant stream of propaganda newsfeed.

*We are told the economy is doing great when it’s obviously not.

*We are told the war is temporary when those in power deliberately intend to keep it going forever.

*They deliberately keep the lower classes poor for the purpose of controlling them.

*Surveillance is ubiquitous.

*The destruction of the nuclear family via the elimination of orgasm, sex and coupling.  Coming true as shown in the stats that more and more men do not even masturbate, women are refusing to consider marriage and children and men are doing likewise for fear of divorce and financial ruin.  In the movie they just outright criminalize it.

*The elite get the good food and coffee, and there are rules for thee not for me.

*Language is completely rewritten, words redefined according to party orthodoxy.

*Your home is raided by law enforcement when you go against the Party.

*Instead of the movie’s re-education camp, we just indoctrinate from childhood in public schools.

We see all of the above actually happening in America today.  All that’s missing is the literal being strapped to a table and tortured and I’m not sure that isn’t happening behind closed doors to people like the Jan 6 detainees.

In the movie they call it “Oligarchical Collectivism”.  That’s the word I’ve been looking for!  It’s the combination of the worst of capitalism and the worst of communism.

Unlike the movie we do have a much larger more effective resistance and half a chance of reversing this dystopian slide.  Because we do, they are doubling down on censoring, canceling, and legal persecution (Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Trump, parents at school board meetings, etc.) of all they perceive to be leading this movement.

Spin Zone / Ideology

Just heard somebody define ideology:  “It’s just whether you are a producer or a parasite.”

That’s it!  That’s all you need to know about right, left, politics, etc.  I thought that was funny and true.

Anybody else ever done this?   I did, years ago I accidentally called my boss “honey” because of being in the habit talking to my husband.  I was mortified.

DETROIT, MI — A local man is being forced to leave behind friends, family, and even his own name to seek his fortune in a far-off country after accidentally ending a business call by saying "I love you."

"Ok Tom, let's just put a pin in that and circle back with those Q3 sales figures on Monday. Ok, I love you," said Dave Smith before covering his mouth in horror at the realization of his horrifying mistake. He then paused awkwardly and just hung up the phone with no further explanation before jumping out a nearby first-story window.

Sources say Mr. Smith is now packing up all his earthly belongings to start a new life elsewhere.

"Welp, I had a good run as an American citizen named Dave, but there's nothing for me here anymore," said Muhammad Jafar Muhammad, whose name was previously Dave. "I can never see or hear from my coworker Tom ever again. Tell my family I'll miss them dearly."

At publishing time Muhammed had started a brand-new career in Qatar but had to move again after attempting to shake a coworker's hand and grabbing only their fingertips.

Spin Zone / Paypal now full censorship

New PayPal Policy Lets Company Pull $2,500 From Users’ Accounts If They Promote ‘Misinformation’
Ben Zeisloft
4-5 minutes

A new policy update from PayPal will permit the firm to sanction users who advance purported “misinformation” or present risks to user “wellbeing.”

The financial services company, which has repeatedly deplatformed organizations and individual commentators for their political views, will expand its “existing list of prohibited activities” on November 3. Among the changes are prohibitions on “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “promote misinformation” or “present a risk to user safety or wellbeing.” Users are also barred from “the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory.”

The company’s current acceptable use policy does not mention such activities. The Daily Wire reached out to PayPal for definitions of the added terms, although no response was received in time for publication.

The policy applies to actions taken using PayPal’s platform.

Deliberations will be made at the “sole discretion” of PayPal and may subject the user to “damages” — including the removal of $2,500 “debited directly from your PayPal account.” The company’s user agreement contains a provision in which account holders acknowledge that the figure is “presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages” due to the administrative cost of tracking violations and damage to the company’s reputation.

“Under existing law, PayPal has the ability as a private company to implement this type of viewpoint-discriminatory policy,” Aaron Terr, a senior program officer at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, explained to The Daily Wire. “Whatever motivation PayPal has for establishing these vague new categories of prohibited expression, they will almost certainly have a severe chilling effect on users’ speech. As is often the case with ill-defined and viewpoint-discriminatory speech codes, those with unpopular or minority viewpoints will likely bear the brunt of these restrictions.”

The move comes days after PayPal canceled three accounts linked to Toby Young, a commentator who runs a nonprofit called Free Speech Union. The organization has defended clients such as actor and comedian Russell Brand, who recently moved his show from YouTube to Rumble in reaction to censorship from the former platform.

Roughly one-third of Free Speech Union members rely upon PayPal to process their membership dues — although the company gave no explanation to Young for the suspension beyond mentioning a breach of the acceptable use policy. PayPal later restored the accounts after receiving criticism from lawmakers and apologized to Young for “any inconvenience caused,” according to a report from The Telegraph.

Platforms such as Amazon, Twitter, and Facebook have formerly censored conservatives and others who subscribe to heterodox positions on controversial social issues, including transgenderism and homosexuality. GoFundMe seized millions in funds raised for trucker protests in Canada earlier this year, while Google recently began suppressing search results for crisis pregnancy centers.

“These kinds of policies are unwise, threaten free speech, and invite legal risk,” Jeremy Tedesco, vice president of corporate engagement at Alliance Defending Freedom, told The Daily Wire. “When companies apply policies to restrict the religious speech of their customers, they could run afoul of prohibitions on religious discrimination that exist in many state and federal laws.”

PayPal has also sanctioned Gays Against Groomers, a group that opposes the sexualization of children, as well as evolutionary biologist Colin Wright and journalist Ian Miles Cheong. The company featured a rainbow-colored banner on its social media platforms during the month of June affirming that the platform is “open for all” — and PayPal U.K. still sports the banner.

“Whatever PayPal’s intentions may be, censorship and chilling free speech is precisely the effect of these kinds of vaguely worded policies,” Tedesco added. “We’ve seen social media companies use similar policies to stifle free speech on their platforms. We can expect a similar outcome with PayPal.”

Spin Zone / Consider Islam
« on: October 06, 2022, 01:35:14 PM »
I’m listening to a podcast on the subject of all these school kids cutting off their boobs and junk (gender reassignment) and the general decline of family and parenting in this country, and somebody writes in to invite all American men to Islam.  They said “Christianity is not serving men anymore.  For good or bad, Islam is not going to bend itself for zeitgeist.”

I don’t know that the problem in America can be blamed on Christianity but he has a point.  It’s probably more the decline of Christianity that’s the problem, or religiosity in general.  But neither Islam nor traditional Christianity would put up with this gender crap with our children.

But if his argument is we need to get back to a well defined set of guidelines aligned with Creation (Nature, biology) for how men and women should behave within themselves and with each other, then he is exactly right.

Just sayin.

And before you jump down my throat, first, I’m not necessarily saying I agree American men should go with Islam, second, if I did agree with it, that doesn’t mean I agree with the head coverings and the parts about beating your wife, killing homosexuals, and living under a repressive theocratic regime.

Spin Zone / Russell Brand censored
« on: October 06, 2022, 08:46:27 AM »
Russell Brand is not a conservative by a long shot.  He leans more left than right.  But he is open minded and interviews people on all sides of the political spectrum.  So because he isn't a megaphone for woke left orthodoxy, he is now being censored and probably considered a "right wing extremist".  He is moving to Rumble and says he will have upcoming interviews with Donald and Bernie (last names to be revealed later).  Well if they aren't Trump and Sanders I will be mad at him for trolling me.

Spin Zone / Train hits police car parked on tracks

I thought everyone in the country knew NEVER TO PARK A CAR ON THE RAILROAD TRACKS.  The stupidity and negligence of every one of these police officers is astounding.  Put the suspect in the car on the tracks and proceeded to dick around searching her car even as the train horn is blasting away.  Wow.

Pressure Mounting For Candace Owens To Grow A Beard

Quote
NASHVILLE, TN — With the success of Matt Walsh and the newly-bearded Ben Shapiro, pressure is mounting at The Daily Wire headquarters for popular conservative commentator Candace Owens to grow a beard of her own.

"Our incoming data shows a tremendous popularity of beards among our audience," said Lois Fonecharger, marketing analyst for The Daily Wire. "Beards seem to add a certain level of gravitas to someone's argument. Matt Walsh would be powerless without his beard, and there's no denying the surge of attention Ben's new beard is causing online. Some feedback is even saying Ben could pass for 17 years old now instead of 12! We're inching toward a company-wide directive that all on-camera talent grow beards."

While many of the famous faces of The Daily Wire seem to be embracing beard growth as a new pillar of the media company's future plans, some have been more hesitant. "Candace Owens isn't sold on the idea, mainly because she's a woman and unable to grow a beard," said Owens's personal assistant Savanna Jacoby. "I don't really see how covering half of her face with a beard will be beneficial in any way, but she's always a team player and willing to give it a try."

At publishing time, Owens was believed to be moving forward with the plan, even going as far as to set up times to record promo spots for sponsors advertising beard balms and oils, though it is not known at this time what effect this new initiative may have on The Daily Wire's long-standing relationship with Jeremy's Razors.

Fantastic analysis.  Not saying I agree with it completely.  The comment section has some pretty concerning disagreement that the military will mostly side with the right.  Overall his prediction is very plausible.  It supports my theory that it will be an urban vs rural split more than by state.  I also agree that the left could provoke a dangerous overreaction from the right.  Also agree that the trigger event could be the election of a Republican president.  If Trump wins in 2024, I think the left will explode in rioting that makes 2020 look like a Sunday picnic.  It will be game on.  Be that as it may it’s better than the Dems winning and continuing their disastrous policies.  I am still hopeful a convention of states can resolve this, but I’m doubting more and more we can come together at all.  We are too culturally divided, not eating the same food, not dressing the same, etc. although I disagree with some of what he lists.

Oh and he talks about the Philly suburbs, Anthony.

Question:  If you were a young man in Russia today, would you leave to avoid being sent to Ukraine?  So what is the difference between that and fleeing to Canada in the 60s to avoid Vietnam?  We condemn those who did that.  Somebody explain to me the difference.  You cannot use “Russia is a communist shithole and the U.S. isn’t.”  The reality is in both wars you are fighting a highly motivated enemy on their homeland for a cause you don’t understand.

Spin Zone / How Hungary reduced abortion
« on: September 26, 2022, 02:36:04 PM »
If you have 4 children, you pay ZERO income tax for the rest of your life.  If you have one, 25% reduction and so on.

Hungary noticed people weren't reproducing enough so came up with this incentive.  Apparently it's working, they're  having more babies, and less abortions.

Here's my source, it's very long but EXTREMELY WELL WORTH IT.  **SPOILER**   One reason young people in Quebec are turning conservative is that Quebec had arguably the most draconian covid lockdowns in this hemisphere.  It woke young people up to the fact that centralized control is a bad thing.

Great education on Canada politics, Quebec in particular.

Peterson talks about the massive amounts of liquid natural gas Canada has.  Germany came and begged them for it and Trudeau said "No."  Because it's not "good business".  But that's because of onerous government regulation on ramping up production.  Canada could be energy independent and export enough for the world but won't because of the greenie left who are going to destroy Canada if they keep going.

Peterson outlines the best governmental structure. Not a dictator, not anarchy.  Keep power and decisions at the lowest most local level possible, from individual to family and so on up the structure, have a multilevel structure in between where each level only has what power is necessary.  He articulates it better than me.
