Well, it seems the children are at it again. I joined the group on FB by this name, but it seems to be many former or current POA participants.
You can tell by all the dick jokes and dick tracks posted on that site.
Kids will be kids!

Pretty sure 6PC started that group when he got kicked off the AOPA Members group when the Sysop didn't like something he posted...

I tried to search for it but couldn't find it. I did see a thread on POA talking about it but haven't really looked that much into it.

I left there by choice and have no desire to return, regardless of outlet. If 6PC is there it's gotta be a train wreck waiting to happen.

Agreed. The childish dick fascinations get old really fast.

It was a great forum for many a year. I was blessed to meet a lot of people on the forum at fly-ins and always had a great time. I'm not sure when it went to hell but it deteriorated quickly. Funny how things haven't changed since SZ was shut down.

I went to several of the early days Gastons flyins, it was good.

I got so fed up with the pathetic moderators, then the whole closing the spin zone because some moderator got her panties in a twist, thing that I deleted the link and never looked back. If a bunch of pilots can't live in a world where people might (gasp) say whatever they think, then their world is a pathetic and childish place.

Yes, because SHE disagreed with the views of many of us she got it shut down. Shame on the rest of the MC for allowing her to rule. POA was a good place at one time, and I have many friends from there.

But, if you are part of the clique, one can say or post anything they want without any reprisal.
Activity is way down there since they have run away some of the more interesting members. Now it's just childish postings with the select few hurling insults unabated.
And of course endless threads filled with dick references.
Pathetic.

The egos of those involved in shutting it down were massive and kind f sad in a pathetic way. You just had to read their 'warnings' and 'justifications' to know it was all about a little clique and their egos.

Since it was announced not long after Gastons last year, I believe it was something that was talked about there. I believe that Bryan and Troy had something to do with it. No matter, it's gone and now politics rears its ugly head in regular threads now until they get shut down. Kind of like how the Red Board shuts down threads for lack of aviation content.
