But American companies are now trying to outsource more varieties of jobs, including accounting, healthcare and design jobs. For example, American universities have hired H-1Bs for 100,000 prestigious jobs, including professors, lecturers, doctors, therapists, scientists and researchers. Engineering giant Caterpillar continues to hire H-1B workers in Illinois as it fires hundreds of American engineers and other white-collar workers, DeLoitte and other U.S. accounting firms have asked for more than 20,000 H-1B visas to replace American business-school graduates."
OOPS. They've gone after the wrong people this time, don't mess with academia, especially the salaries of professors. Will come back to haunt them.

If this makes you angry, then push your congress critter to fix the immigration policies. Violation of visas categories is a major source of both unemployed people and cost to support the unemployed people.
BTW, Donald is very much against this. In order to Make America Great Again, he knows that you have to put Americans to work, not foreigners.

As long as a US citizen can hold the job there should be absolutely no reason to grant a visa to a foreigner.

Its crazy how screwed we are by places like India and Pakistan in the IT industry or almost any type of computer or phone based job. There used to be a time when a guy could make a living programming or doing graphic design by bidding on jobs online. Now these guys in other countrys do work that would take us a week and charge $25. Its pathetic.. I'm not sure that this type of stuff is even on the radar, but it is killing a lot of jobs for educated americans.

Engineering used to be a good profession, until the US companies learned they could use the H1B's for 30-50 cents on the dollar.

That's exactly what was predicted would happen if we opened up our immigration policies. So we put laws in place that were supposed to stop them, except that Progressives aren't enforcing those laws.
It should be easy. But they lack the will to control it.
