Boston bars may have to serve drinks in plastic glasses because Boston may ban glass drinking glasses.
There have been a spate of assaults using broken glasses. Soooo, of course, the geniuses are considering banning glass glasses. I wonder when they will start banning baseball bats and knives.

We should never be surprised when ultra liberal/progressive nanny states, and cities within them like MA, CT, RI, CA, NY, NJ, MD, IL, etc implement bans, or draconian regulations on everything, and anything imaginable. Heck, even in PA, Philly has implemented a soda/sugary drink tax which has more than double the price of a bottle of Coke, Pepsi and even fruit juices. It is another money grab, but people are indicating they will just shop outside city limits instead.

Rather than deal with criminals, progressive liberal cowards, always try to punish everyone but in a stupid attempt to be seen as 'doing something.'

This is why I'm glad I live in a state that doesn't pass laws/ordinances like this. I feel bad for the people who do live in those places who don't understand what it's like to be a free thinking human being capable of making your own decisions. Sometimes, however, people live in those places because of their situation, be it family, job, etc. Those people just have to do the best they can.

FTFY. Boston is only doing it because of the behavior of the people who live there. I would call it bad behavior, but that would be applying my judgment on it. According to the left, we cannot call any behavior good or bad any more, their behavior is just as valid as what you might wish them to do. Draw your own conclusions on that.
According to me, these people ought to be reminded that we live in society, not in caves. There are certain behaviors which are not done and physical violence in general is one of those, along with deceit, dishonesty and any kind of abuse.
