I have always thought that when I am in the gun store, if I hear a shot go off, I'm hitting the floor.  There are about to be bullets flying all over and I want to be way below where they're flying.

I can not for the life of me think of a WORSE place to try to rob, and threaten people's lives like a gun shop.

I remember a few reports of people trying to rob bars, which were known off-duty police hangouts.  Those attempts didn't end well either.
