I really think the progressive terrorist movement is imploding while the communist news media den communist party (democrats) shriek their lies.

And now those defending themselves against violence from Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA are now "Armed Militia" and "Vigilantes" to be prosecuted, even BEFORE any FACTS are known about them. This from a DEMOCRAT Police Chief working for a Democrat Mayor in a state with a Democrat Governor also making rash judgments and statements. I wonder why??? They are making Self Defense ILLEGAL!
A second video then appears to show armed men in military-style clothing—believed to be members of the New Mexico Civil Guard militia group who were there to protect the statue—surrounding the man on the ground.
Several members of the militia group who were allegedly involved in the violence were then taken into custody by the Albuquerque Police Department. The FBI is assisting APD violent crime investigators as they continue to interview individuals over the incident.
Police have not released details about any of the detained suspects in connection to the shooting.
APD Chief Michael Geier said in a statement: "We are receiving reports about vigilante groups possibly instigating this violence.
"If this is true will be holding them accountable to the fullest extent of the law, including federal hate group designation and prosecution."

Reports which most likely MADE UP to make anyone that defends themselves look like criminals. Last time I checked armed Militias were LEGAL under U.S. Code.
In Philly, the Mayor and DA called those protecting the Statue of Columbus "Vigilantes". He has NOT condemned the people destroying and defacing these statues, nor called them "Criminals" nor any derogatory name. Of course they are just "Protesters".
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney called the group of people who surrounded the Christopher Columbus statue in South Philly on Saturday “inappropriate” and said that “these individuals only bring more danger to themselves and the city.”
“We are aware of the groups of armed individuals ‘protecting’ the Columbus statue in Marconi Plaza. All vigilantism is inappropriate, and these individuals only bring more danger to themselves and the city,” Kenney wrote on Twitter.
“We are also aware of an apparent assault caught on video tape, as well as possible restrictions placed on journalists filming the event. These incidents are under investigation at this time.”
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner took to Twitter as well to condemn the group that gathered around the Columbus statue.

Saying you are "defending" something doesn't prove you really are.
And using a bat--or anything else--for an illegal purpose (such as assaulting or threatening or harassing people) is a criminal act.
