The problem isn't the way we tax people.  The problem is the way the government spends money.  If they didn't spend so much money on useless things or productivity killing programs they wouldn't have to raise so much money and wouldn't have to invent so many irrational taxing mechanisms.

Allowing the .gov to tax the way they do allows them money to do the stupid programs.
