It might be easier to station those troops on the Mexican side of the border.

While the rights to assemble and protest are granted by the First Amendment, they can be limited or suspended when such protests endanger property or human life and safety.

I’m not sure of the legal mechanisms, but I’m pretty certain National Guard troops could be deployed to the Southern Border if ordered by the governors, and not the Pentagon of CIC. It would require coordination between the governor (I.e. TX Gov. Abbott would have to ask for assistance from the WI governor for the WI National Guard.)

Sadly, I tend to agree with this. That's why they want to take away legally owned and used guns from the law abiding.
