I also think it is absurd to think that humans are not affecting the change.
But what we don't know is the long term speed or direction of the change. And we don't know if human activity is speeding up or slowing down the change. And the effect we are having is probably minuscule anyway when compared to geologic and cosmic events.
I'm all for taking steps to clean up the environment because I like a clean environment. But I don't think we are capable of orchestrating significant climate change anyway. And even if we could we'd probably do it wrong.
But I don't Mind ongoing research. Maybe one day we will be able to figure this out.i just think it is arrogant for anyone to think we already have it ball figured out.

Very true.
On that same tangent, we also don't know if the warmer northerly climate adversely affects climates in other regions. Whereas we might enjoy more landmass that can grow crops and food, we might incur strife and death in many other lands that once enjoyed the same.

That's true, but warmer climate also drives more powerful weather systems. So we also have to consider huge rain fall, floods, stronger hurricanes, stronger tornados, extended droughts and huge freakish snow fall.

They are in the news. You can't just use hurricanes as the only metric. Ask the folks in West Virginia how they feel about rain. Every year the news reports "record" weather events, they just don't happen to all be hurricanes. But of course the media lies and are part of the most intricate, complex and far reaching conspiracy to ever occur on the planet. So there's that.

John Kerry just said that air conditioning is more dangerous than ISIS. I am sure he has turned off the A/C in his private jet, mansions, and yacht. We must live in discomfort, and poverty, but it is OK for him to do everything we can't. Such hypocrisy is reaching a criminal level.
