I don't like Trump's chances of winning.
In the user agreement of all the social media sites is a clause where you pass copyright ownership over to the site. So, they own the content in it's entirety and they have editorial control over that content. It's really hard to protest censorship over something that you don't own not being posted.
But that also makes it really hard for them to continue to claim to be a platform and due section 230 protection from the CDA. They own the content, they control what gets posted, and they actively scrub content. They are therefore affirming what they choose for the public to see. That isn't a platform.

A week or so ago Gettr launched a new social media site to compete with Twitter. They even claimed that you could import your Tweets into their site until Twitter turned around and blocked that claiming they owned that content while also claiming that you owned your Tweets.

Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc are getting more and more draconian and alternative media is rising. I’m expecting there will soon be a crackdown on alternative sites and all social media brought under heavy federal regulation and censorship in direct opposition to the First Amendment. I’m also expecting more violations of privacy such as banning the use of no-log VPNs.
I would not be surprised if the feds made the use of Tor illegal, except for the fact that they need all the traffic to cover their own undercover activities. Probably 90% of pedos on the dark web are actually FBI agents, and 100% of gun sellers and “hit men for hire” are either federal agents or scammers. But they will use the excuse that the dark web is full of criminals to shut it down thereby removing the best tool for general privacy the law abiding citizen has, who just doesn’t want all their data collected by the NSA.
They want to identify, list, and target anyone that’s a threat to their power and that includes anyone who supports Trump or who opposes the Biden administration and its thugs.
All these things I list above are what China does and the Democrats are directly following the communist Chinese playbook. The only thing getting in their way is the Constitution and they already get around that by using private corporations to do their censorship for them. Big Tech and MSM are essentially just state run propaganda machines at this point.
We need to continue to support alternative media but it requires setting up servers that aren’t owned by Amazon or the other billionaire bitches of the Democrat party. It also requires grassroots work from the bottom up to get and keep local and state politicians that will uphold our constitutional rights against the federal behemoth.

If you are a facebook user, and have their app on a device or you have their website on your computer, FB now has access to everything you have. Nothing you have is safe, and they have complete access.
Same with Google. This is why google pushes Chrome as a browser. I'm not a twitter user, but I suspect twitter does the same thing.

Honestly, I don’t necessarily believe that. I think it’s the DCP, not the CCP, that owns US media. They have developed their own home-grown hate cartel, for their own evil intentions. While the CCP may have their fingers in the pot, I think the Democrat party is their own unique hate group.

My point is that clips like the one I referred to do more to make his opposition look like lying idiots than it does to prove Joe is incompetent and senile. They either need to do better editing (like the liberal media does), or they need to post un-doctored videos.

I agree, it annoys me when the right uses the same propaganda tactics as the left. But I go to the original source and in this case, Biden is definitely still senile (I agree with you there too).
I find that when the right does it, they generally just exaggerate, whereas when the left do it, it varies from taking completely out of context to outright 180 degree lies. The left are far, far, further from truth than the right (most of the time).
