What bugs me are the otherwise excellent memes with spelling and grammar and punctuation errors in them. They’re not shareable because of it.I got criticized the other day for pointing out that meme someone posted had spelling errors.

I really hope so but I have my doubts. Some people just seem too prone to fearmongering. And sometimes I think we have lost our heart. The basic soul of the land of the free and the brave. If we are that, how did it come to this? How did we allow it for a year in the first place?
He certainly is trying. But I don’t think the American people are having any bit of being put on Biden’s leash.
This weekend I saw more patriotic Americans, flags in homes and vehicles, people watching fireworks, than I’ve seen in a few years. I think they are sick of being told what to do.
The only thing important to the dimwits was the intended consequence of doing anything and everything to prevent President Trump from being re-elected.Absolutely, this was no accident. It was on purpose.
The knowledgeable and rational Democrats in the administration understand that if current spending programs are to be sustained that tax revenues must increase dramatically because the current rate of deficit spending is not sustainable without triggering severe economic consequences such as the devaluation of the US dollar and run away inflation.
They also understand that even if they were to double the corporate tax rate and raise the top individual tax rate to 70%, even those Draconian tax increases would generate only a small fraction of the extra tax revenues required to bring the deficit back to manageable levels.
So how do you increase tax revenues from the middle class without committing political suicide by raising their individual income tax rates?
The answer is a "Carbon tax" which on its face would only be born by "evil corporations" such as oil and gas companies, trucking companies, automobile manufacturers, retail chains and the rest of the US Manufacturing sector. In its final form, that new "carbon tax" could easily generate another Trillion plus in Federal tax revenues every year but who would actually wind up paying it?
The answer is the vast majority of middle class American consumers who would see the prices of virtually everything they buy increase to offset the cost increases imposed on those "evil corporations" by the new carbon tax who will then have to pass on those increased operating costs to the consumers of their products. That is how you generate more tax revenues from the middle class. You have corporations do it for you as they pass through that new tax to the consumer and become a defacto tax collector for the Federal Government.
And that is before a lot more of US manufacturing gets driven out of business by foreign competitors who already enjoy dramatically lower labor costs and won't have the added cost burden of a "Carbon tax" on the vehicles, electronics and appliances they produce in their home countries.
Now you understand why Democrats are pushing so hard for a virtuous sounding "Carbon tax".
