I read an op-ed piece in today's paper where the writer complained that the CDC new protocol (wrt being vaccinated and what we can now do) was too sudden... one week we have to wear masks and "suddenly" we don't
seriously?
Are we supposed to take this more slowly? does the CDC need to gives us a warning that something might change? two week notice? how long?

The problem is that the Tyrants - from federal, state and local governments, school boards, and uneducated bureaucrats- weren’t given enough notice that their rein of tyranny was coming to an end.
They are shitting their pants with the idea that the proletariat thinks that they can now think for themselves instead of having to kiss the ring of the ruling class for a crumb of bread.

No more masks in Texas. I don't see where it addresses businesses though, but around here if the business says mask required, they aren't enforcing it. Almost nobody is wearing them anymore except employees.

In Minnesota I occasionally see signs, mask if not vaccinated.
Sad part is I see way to many people still wearing mask everywhere. Last trip to Walmart over 50% of people had mask on.
Today getting gas the lady next to me has a mask on outside pumping gas.

That’s ok. That’s how we identify Biden voters. It’s kind of like a branding iron but less painful.

If someone is wearing a mask, let them.
Sometimes people have to wear masks (e.g., if a person has TB or if a person is immune-compromised).
There is no need to ridicule people for wearing a mask assuming, of course, that they are wearing a real mask and wearing it correctly. Even then, it would be more helpful to correct them rather than ridicule them.

Neighbor had an outdoor party yesterday with a live band. Nobody wore a mask. Food buffet, people sitting closer than 6’. WAY more than 10 people. People hugging and shaking hands. Pretty much back to normal!

I ran across a store that still had a sign outside, but alot of them do. Except these people were serious about it and rather rude and aggressive about it. I turned to leave an was literally looking at the exact item I came for. It was a real conflict on whether or not to just leave or not waste the trip.
In the end I compromised, grabbed the item and took it to the register. I held a mask up to my face while the cashier rang it up, then had to put it down to pay. Picked everything up and walked out.
But I won't be back until they change.

Horrible Fright is just fine for something that will be one use. I have a few of their tools lying around, and if they work the next time they're called upon (if ever), it's a win.

You can't defame them by saying something that's true. Or by expressing your opinion that a company sucks. You can however get in legal trouble for doing that in Vietnam. This video is hilarious.
