I'll listen to him more later, when I have time.
He starts off complaining about white people deciding what black kids learn. In large part, I agree with that. Just like I complain about people in Washington telling people from Florida to Texas to Oregon to Alaska what we should be teaching our children; and how.
What I disagreed with in the bit I watched was that he was making it sound like white people in general are teaching kids it is ok to day "nigger" or "nigga". I think that is an extremely gross exaggeration. Yeah, it probably happens. But it is not at all common. The one or two times I heard someone say something similar, I immediately lost respect for them (or more accurately, never gave them respect in the first place). And nobody I know gives those people respect.
I think race relations are (or were) well on the way to healing. But too many blacks feel like they have to rip the scab off to keep the healing from progressing.

FAR TOO MANY blacks use anything to prove to themselves, at least, that racism is everywhere and every white person is a racist.
