Merry fairytale day! While I do believe there may be a higher power out there, I sure as hell don't believe in the make believe stories told by religion.

I bet if I totaled up all the IQs on this board I'd have a number smaller than the number of teeth in your average West Virginian.

She's a lying sociopath Marxist.   Nice to see you hold her in such high esteem.  ::)

Based on what?  Facts!  Did you even listen to her testimony?  I did!

She certainly brought out the misogynists here.

At least she is a credit to America and what it stands for which is a lot more than many can say.

Yeah, so what?  Nobody needs to be reminded of that.  We all know that NBC, MNSBC (both owned by Biden supporting Comcast), CBS, ABC (owned by Far Left Disney), PBS, NYT, Washpo (owned by Bezos/Amazon) are Democrat controlled propaganda machines that should be INGORED.  Yes, they are private, and can say whatever they want.  They also have NO CREDIBILTIY.  NONE.  Pure Democrat PROPAGANDA.

Anthony, according to you any media outlet that does not closely adhere to the Conservative point of view is a liberal propaganda outlet, and any one touting the Conservative line is spouting the Odin's honest truth.  I'm still wondering why you don't just pick up and move to Alabama.

They split the vote, and siphon off votes that typically go to the conservative.   Kentucky Governor race is an example.  The Libertarian candidate siphoned off enough votes to throw the election to the democrat.

Ah - well it is good to know the Libertarians are actually doing that well. Of course the Republican candidate should have left the race to allow the Libertarian candidate to win.

Many people bitch about how the Republicans are indistinguishable from Democrats when it comes to government growth, but when a real alternative comes along the alternative is supposed to step aside in favor of the entrenched parties. Madness I say.

What utter bullshit.

Project much?

Nope. Just calling what I see. I don’t require that you agree, but I find the Republican Party becoming as distastefully fanatic as the Democrats have been for a decade or more.

YMMV

BTW, it was about 3 years ago that my mother met him.

Mulvaney said, on television, that there was quid pro quo.  On camera.  Its on Youtube. And you guys don't care because it's Trump.

Wow. C'mon folks, she's a 16 year old girl. I blame the adults in her life. And actually, from the interview PBS Newshour did with her a couple of weeks ago, my impression is she's pretty intelligent. I could just as easily predict that one day soon she'll learn enough about the subject to realize there's no basis for catastrophic thinking here. In any case, she's too young to know yet what direction her life is going to take her.

Actually while I was repeatedly banned from POA, it really wasn’t for being political at least not in the strictest sense of the word. I made several posts that poked fun of various politicians on both sides of the aisle whenever they said or did something stupid.  I have also done the same when a celebrity or member of the media said or wrote something stupid.  I believe that if someone has somehow been given a bigger voice than the rest of us that the things they say should not be stupid. I have poked at Obama and the Clintons as much as Trump but it’s only Trump jokes that gets me labeled as being political and banned.  I find that odd.  Funny thing is that I do not claim to be either liberal or conservative or republican or Democrat on the whole but have beliefs from both sides.  That said, I predominantly have voted GOP in presidential elections.  My first election was 1976 and I voted for Carter, the dem.  Every election since until 2016, I voted for the GOP candidates.  I almost didn’t vote for GW the second time as the Iraq war really was a dumb move but I could not stomach Kerry.  I almost voted for Obama in 2008 as I can’t really stand Romney, though as of late he has shown a little character.  But I voted for him anyways. In 2016 we had two horrible choices in Trump and Clinton and neither got my vote as I decided to vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson.   I wish the Dems will nominate a more moderate person this time who has mass appeal as I would prefer not to see Trump re-elected. But if it makes people feel better to call me political, partisan, liberal, conservative, etc. because it fits their narrow view of the available choices, there really isn’t much that I can do.  So label me what you will.

Oh, I also got banned for bashing Tom D’s frequent idiotic advice and thoughts.  He’s a mod favorite over there and they seem to protect him and his fan boy.  Don’t know though if that makes me political as well.  I looked at it as providing better and more accurate answers to the subject at hand.

Anyways, I might hang around here and and I might not.  I doubt though if it will matter.  I’m probably not anymore popular here than I was on POA.

That’s more than I intended to post.  Sorry.

You're fine, and appreciate the reply.

Stick around and have some fun here.

I hope you do stick around.
Back when I was a consultant to a vice president in a fortune 500 company, I apologized to him because my colleague and I often disagreed with each other.  He told me something that stuck and I have use in several situations:

If two people always agree on something, then one of them is unnecessary.
If those two people always disagree, then they are both unnecessary.

I am sure we will disagree on many things in the future if you will give it a chance.

^^^^^Agree.  They need to fly.  Just looking at them sitting there in a museum is OK, but nothing like seeing them in operation.  Hearing the engines, smelling the oil and gas, hearing the brakes squeal, watching them taxi, takeoff, and land is priceless.  That's why OSH is so cool, as that is constantly happening.

I hope they don't suspend giving rides, as that is just a great experience for many also, and helps defer some of the operating costs.

There are enough examples in museums. If the owner wants to fly one and it is airworthy, then they should fly it.
Walk through the Air and Space Museum. Or the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles. What do you hear?  Nothing. What do you smell?  Nothing. What do you see?  Basically 3-D artifacts.

Take a ride in a Warbird.  Smell the oil. Smell the fumes. Smell the history. Hear the sound of a Ranger engine, or the roar of a Pratt & Whitney R-1340 in a T-6, or the R-2800 Double Wasp engine powering a Thunderbolt.

Watch a 90-year old veteran become a 22 year-old warrior again when he steps inside a B-17 once again.

That’s why we have to keep these aircraft flying.

You can't go away. Too many people leaving this site.

Given the average content I can see why.

You mean like the numb nuts brigade at cnn and msnbc???

My thinking is the ratio of numbnuts on the left to the numbnuts on the right mirrors the ratio of Americans leaning left or right.  Seems that way to me.  the left-leaning outlets seem to be greater in number, but I think the right leaning outlets are far larger and wealthier.  Also, the right wing has more than a few houses of worship backing it.

Which is kind of how it should be.  I know you guys prefer and echo chamber, where no one ever says anything you disagree with.  At least, that's how you come off.  But in a diverse nation there will be diverse viewpoints.  The trick is to listen, instead of accuse and denigrate.  I admit I'm not as good at that as I'd like to be.
