The left doesn't want facts.  Look how they've responded to the Podesta emails.  They just start talking about them being stolen by the Russians and how it is Trump's fault.

Same thing with the Project Veritas videos where we hear them bragging about disrupting Trump rallys.

...Trump, who may not even accept the results of the election ...

"At a private fund-raiser in Los Angeles for Democratic Sen. Jean Carnahan of Missouri, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told the crowd that President Bush merely had been "selected" president, not elected, Newsweek reports in the current issue." (linky)

Cue the media histrionics about "not accepting the results of an election". Leftism is nothing if not a case study in psychological projection.

So I was not politically correct enough?  Maybe demands to salve feelings with politically correct speech is not only for liberal college campuses.  Hmmm . . . .

That's a typical progressive turn about.  Project the failings of your movement onto your enemy. So Hilary of you.

So Jeff stops by once again....

I thought that was Aunt Peggy.

Most progressives are PROUD that this is going on and really PROUD that they are getting away with it because the FBI and DOJ are so corrupt.

Spin Zone / Hillary's tax plan for America
« on: October 18, 2016, 02:46:50 PM »
Hillary Clinton's tax plan has been evaluated and scored by taxfoundation.org - you can read the summary of their analysis at http://taxfoundation.org/sites/default/files/docs/TaxFoundation-FF496.pdf.

The big punch line is found at the bottom of page 3

Quote
According to the Tax Foundation’s Taxes and Growth Model, Hillary Clinton’s tax plan would
reduce the economy’s size by 1 percent in the long run. The plan would lead to 0.8 percent
lower wages, a 2.8 percent smaller capital stock, and 311,000 fewer full-time equivalent
jobs. The smaller economy results from somewhat higher marginal tax rates on capital and
labor income.

So there you have it - Hillary's plan to make us all poorer and raise government revenues doing it.  It is because she is chasing the wrong metrics, namely government spending.  I've taken several economics courses in college and in graduate school.  While I do not have a degree directly in economics, it does not take one to understand that the government cannot spend more without taking more from us.  When combined with a shrinking overall GDP and a shrinking job pool (not to mention a hundred million new immigrants), but what kind of measure can her plan be considered "good"?

Nobody ever does anything they consider irrational.  If it looks that way, it is because you don't understand.  Hillary values government spending, government programs and government growth.  She does not value increased wealth for the 99%, for us.  She does not value US doing well.  And that alone ought to make everyone stop and give pause - are you so enamored with her that you are willing to give up your own prosperity to get her elected?  The term useful idiot comes to mind.

Watching this video has me seriously pissed off to even think that we could elect Hillary.  These are some seriously fucked up people doing this shit.
When you believe the ends justifies the means, anything is fair game, this is just the first in a string of evidence speaking directly to this, and it follows the pattern of behavior for the Left in general and Hillary in specific, for her ENTIRE career in private and public life.

We are truly and utterly fucked if she wins as she will weaponize every corner of government and pop culture with her sycophantic followers - it will make the past 8 years seem like 'the good old days' when they were only out to destroy the TEA Party and major conservative groups.

So to be clear, you think these women independently all came forward within a one week period, none of them - not a single one - pursued one of the many remedies available to them, and their stories magically sound similar to statements made by a 60-year old guy that came out 10 days ago.

Sorry, but that doesn't sound like thinking folks.
No.  I think that an army of Clinton goose steppers searched for these women that would be willing to lie long ago.  They probably started searching for them a long time ago when they first found out about the open mic tape, and they held on to both (the tape and the women) until closer to the campaign at a time when they would need a diversion.  The release of the last batch of emails was the situation for which they needed the diversion so that is when they had the women come forward.

Obama was not terribly unpredictable.  He slid a little to the center, but mostly what he has done is not a surprise.
No one but the most radical leftists think that Obama "slid a little to the center."

That's BS. Preventing religion from creeping into places it doesn't belong is not an infringement of your religious freedom. "Religious freedom" doesn't include the opportunity to wedge it into other people's lives via government.

What is BS is claiming that your right to freedom from religious exposure trumps the rights of everyone else from practicing their religious convictions. It is no different than the little progressive snowflakes claiming that seeing the word TRUMP written ona  whiteboard at a college campus is a hate crime. You folks simply insist that whatever your current popular idiocy is should be mandatory for everyone, or you are being discriminated against, the victim of micro aggression, scared, frightened, and / or the victim of sexism. It's all made up stupidity to make yourselves feel important at others' expense.

Spin Zone / Re: Response to Paul Ryan Fundraiser
« on: October 15, 2016, 11:00:44 AM »
I disagree because the two aren't joined at the hip.
Paul Ryan has been a monumental failure at leading based on conservative principles.
What Donald Trump thinks or does has no bearing on what Paul Ryan did and does.
Don't try and use facts or logic with Jihad Jeff, he is so broken record on that I still have him on ignore as a total no-value-added waste of time and wouldn't have even seen what he said had you not quoted it - but I already knew what it would be anyway.

Conservatism is not on the Presidential ballot this year (or any year really but that is another story) - what is on the ballot this year is a continuation and expansion of the disastrous policies of the last 8 years, or something else.

I only say 'something else' because the details are actually not that important - on any of the issues I could be a single issue voter on, Trump's official platform positions (and the history of his public life, on balance) far more closely align with my own than do Clinton's.  SCOTUS, Gun Control, Abortion, the Political-Media-Complex, Immigration, Trade, Radical Muslim Terrorism, the UN, the Republican Elite/Establishment, DC vs the rest of the country, the rigged system - I could go on but he is far closer to my own positions than Hillary could ever believably pretend to be.

Is he an ideal candidate, no - never said that.

Is he a rock-ribbed conservative, no - never said that.

Is he a paragon of moral virtue and propriety, no - never said that.

Borrowing from a good friend of mine, we are minimizing the election by calling this one a choice between 'the lesser of two evils' - simply put:
  • One is for the murder of unborn children one is not - that is not the lesser of two evils, that is for the greater good and is for me an easy choice.
  • One is for the elimination of the foundation of our Bill of Rights (2nd Amdt) and one is not - that is not the lesser of two evils, that is for the greater good and is for me an easy choice.
  • One is for appointing radical left wing idealogues to SCOTUS (and every other court in the land) and one is not - that is not the lesser of two evils, that is for the greater good and is for me an easy choice.
  • One is for allowing unvetted refugees from dangerous areas of the world (and anywhere else frankly) into our country without a single thought as how to support them and one is not - that is not the lesser of two evils, that is for the greater good and is for me an easy choice.
  • One refuses to name or even try to truly quantify the danger we face from Radical Islam and one is not - that is not the lesser of two evils, that is for the greater good and is for me an easy choice.

Liberal has been redefined over the last generation to the point that it is absolutely indistinguishable from what an actual liberal was in the sixties. An actual liberal would despise the politics of those that think of themselves as liberal to day because the modern liberal is all in on the concept of cradle to grave life manipulation by a small group of thugs who call themselves progressives and are nothing but hard line communists in the Stalin model.
The modern liberal hates freedom to choose except to choose abortion because that is still the holy grail of the communists who call themselves liberal.
The modern liberal claims to hate the 1% who own and control almost everything, but never actually live up to their make believe antipathy because they LOVE 1%'ers as long as they are properly pro abortion and as long as they have TOLD to ignore the abject hypocrisy of everything they say, do and pretend.
The modern liberal rails about the environment but adores the 1%ers who fly in private jets, spewing into the environment the very thing they claim is killing the planet, as long as those people are pro abortion and as long as they have been TOLD to exempt those people from their rants.
The modern liberal hates thinking for themselves, preferring to be TOLD what to think and then they run out demanding everyone else think exactly the same way or be unceasingly attacked for their free thought.
The modern liberal thinks that black ghetto thugs burning American cities over supposed civil rights violations that the majority of the thugs can't accurately describe, but believes that the TEA Party is evil because they think the government should be forced to spend only what they take in. The real truth is that modern liberals HATE us because they've been TOLD to hate us and lack the moral or mental fiber to do otherwise.
The modern liberal thinks their iPhone is wonderful and can't live without it, while attacking the company that makes it for being successful.
The modern liberal hates success in others because it makes them 'feel' less and feelings are so much more important that actions to a modern liberal.
Kristin hates us because that's all she's got.

That's already covered by rule 13.

When a good, decent human being like Mitt Romney can't survive the politics of personal destruction that occurs every quadrennial, then no conservative can.  This is the democrats home field advantage, and we are worse as a country for it.

Romney acted like a pussy, plain and simple.  His advisers sucked, that's why he lost.  Judging from his actions over the last few years, it's probably a good thing he did.

The vast majority. Liberals already this is all bulshit, made up to project onto Trump the failings that pig, Bill Clinton and Hilary attacked the women he assaulted.
The vast majority of liberals are just fine with it because lying about this and pretending about this damages the enemy and they are fine with zero credibility and even less integrity while praising their Moaist savior.

Spin Zone / Missiles Fired at US Ship from Yemen
« on: October 13, 2016, 09:32:59 AM »
I know we have carriers not that far from there.  How come a few F/A-18's didn't show up?  Fire a missile at them and see what happens, although the Captain will undoubtedly have his hands tied by the micro managing Administration.
I go back to my original premise. Take the USS Wisconsin out of mothballs, park it 20 miles off shore, and hammer a 10-square mile of land for a few days. Another missile is fired 50 miles away?  Move and repeat as necessary. Such aggressive actions will cease.

Smart bombs and cruise missiles do not appear to be deterring the populace from providing safe haven for the enemy. My plan might.
