That's exactly what I see happening.
Where we disagree is that no matter how bad things get, I don't see Trump ever winning another term as POTUS.

Trump is making two mistakes.  Not getting back on Twitter, and attacking DeSantis instead of simply focusing on his platform.

Unless those journalists committed crimes with their tweets, that is weaponization of government for political purposes against the first amendment. 

And we know the tweets weren’t crimes.

In related news the Supreme Court declined to take the case of the man that made a parody site about police, and the Onion and the Babylon Bee both sent amicus briefs.  Apparently the SC isn’t interested in fighting for 1st Amendment rights. 

And of course now they’re coming after Elon Musk, opening an investigation into his finances.  This is political persecution plain and simple.

We were fucked either way.  A run on all the banks (supposedly- or was that just fear mongering?)  Or print money to bail them out and suffer massively more inflation.  I guess option 2 delays the pain a bit to minimize the damage before 2024.

I watched it all day in real time as it was being streamed.  I’ve known all along that it was mostly peaceful.  The only ones armed were suspected Antifa plants armed with police batons.  They were the ones bashing in windows.  There was also at least one self admitted who claimed to be there as a “journalist”.  At least one was among those arrested by the FBI but I don’t know if he is still in jail or was prosecuted.  My sense is most of the violence was done by, or encouraged by Antifa and maybe Ray Epps (FBI plant?).  Certainly not Buffalo Hat Man.

All the videos I watched are probably selectively censored or taken down by now.  But the Tucker Carlson revelations are not news to me at all and isn’t to anyone who paid close attention that day.

I also know that the entire point was to protest the election certification without having investigated credible allegations of fraud, NOT to overthrow the results and declare Trump the winner.  Just to refrain from certifying until the results of the election can be verified legitimate.  (Which of course we know by now could not have happened.)  IT WAS NOT AN ATTEMPTED COUP.  That’s a fucking lie.  It was in reality a mostly peaceful protest, I watched it be that the entire day.   Quite unlike the 2020 riots, falsely labeled mostly peaceful by a corrupt biased media.

We always knew Trump was not a conservative.  He’s a populist.  Not the same thing!  So he wants to continue corn subsidies, so what?  Still a billion times better than the lunatic left.  Trump or DeSantis, doesn’t matter.  Neither is going to win because we haven’t fixed the elections.

Does anybody know off the top of their head whether these allegations are true or false?  Did DeSantis really vote to raise the minimum social security age to 70?

As for “killing ethanol”, what is he talking about?  Corn subsidies?
