The speed with which the NBA seems to bending over to apologize to China because an executive had the audacity to tweet support for the Hong Kong pro democracy movement tells Americans all they need to know about the pathetic state of affairs.

The NBA is a horribly run league.  The PLAYERS essentially run things, and as long as the teams and league make money, that won't change.  I haven't watched an NBA game in decades. 

They are looking at China as a potentially huge market, and know they will have to partner with the corrupt, totalitarian Chinese Government to get anything done in China.  Therefore, they will forego people's freedom, and liberty for MONEY.
