A debt DeSantis owes President Donald Trump, whose tweets helped rocket him to the Republican nomination last year, could haunt the governor, who is putting his own strong brand on the line stumping for a not-so-popular president desperate to win Florida in his bid for a second term.
Is "not-so-popular" an actual metric, or is that an opinion, which I vehemently disagree with? And "desperate to win"? Isn't winning the goal of EVERY politician?
But after Trump’s support last year helped vault the barely-known Palm Coast congressman to the governor’s mansion, the president is expected to demand that DeSantis work to deliver the nation’s biggest toss-up state.
DeSantis may have been barely-known in much of the nation, but in the State of Florida, he was well known, or at least as well known as his competition, (except for the scandals of his competition).
My point is (like you all know), the media can take any fact, dress it up with adjectives and spin it the way they want. And they WANTED to spin it to make Trump look bad. DeSantis is probably the most popular governor we have had in eons, with grudging support coming in from Dems and Independents alike, as well as from minorities and even some tree and bird huggers. The main thing some people won't forgive him for is his friendship and support for Trump, and that, well, Trumps everything.

They Media spins everything AGAINST Republicans and Trump. They only like the traitors like McCain, Romney, and the other flakes, oh yeah, and Flake himself. You can not get a legitimate, fair assessment of anything the Republicans say, or do. Never. The Media is a total, far left biased, progressive joke, and just a propaganda arm of the Democrats. The entertainment industry is even worse.
