If, by some weird chance, you are watching the World Series, then you might be interested to know that the astros got caught cheating... again.
The report was about an illegal bat used during game one, but it leads one to wonder just how much cheating is ingrained in the astros culture.
It wasn't but a couple of years ago that the whole organization got caught up in a cheating scandal that resulted in MLB banning a couple of mangers
and some others getting outed.
Baseball has a history of covering what it doesn't want reported, so just how deep does cheating go with this team???
Imagine people expecting a sport to be clean and fair. That is like, so last century.
Another reason to turn off and tune out professional sports, I guess.

The only sports I’ve ever followed was NCAA basketball when we won the championship in my graduation year. And pro wrestling of course. Unless you count pistol shooting matches as a sport, which I actually participated in. Oh and martial arts, also participated.

I did as well. College football and pro hockey* are the only sports I watch any more.
I’m still pissed at conservatives who were all upset at the NFL for the whole kneeling thing, yet once again are filling up the stands and having good TV ratings. My brother included. He said he can still be pissed but shouldn’t deny himself the enjoyment he always got from the NFL.
They don’t understand what “I’m done” actually means.
*Hockey is hanging by a thread now that the NHL has a DEI initiative. This is fucking bullshit.

It's all based on the ASSUMPTION that the only reason a workforce is more white or male than the general population is bigotry. That's simply not the case. It may be part of the reason, but there are so many other factors that are ignored because it doesn't support the woke agenda.
The biggest one that is so obvious is women's choice of career. They're pushing to get more females into commercial airline cockpits when the truth is far fewer females are interested in being pilots than men. It doesn't make me feel safe to think the female pilot up there was chosen over a male who was more qualified.
If their goal is 50% of airline pilots need to be women because 50% of the population is female, they can NEVER accomplish that without a dangerous lowering of safety, because what's the percent of women who are into flying? Approximately a half a percent. They will have to hire ALL the women who want to be pilots regardless of skill, medical certification, etc., and they'll still never make that goal. There simply aren't enough women applying.
Of course I don't give a shit what the NHL does with its workforce.

These sports teams are run and owned by either big corporations or some rich dude that owns a corporation. They've all embraced the utter racism of BLM, Wokeness and quotas based SOLELY ON RACE OR GENDER. That's the definition of Racism. Effing hypocrites all.
