The article addresses the wider issue, which is important to discuss.
But it also addresses the exact same feelings I got while watching the first two episodes of "Designated Survivor".
I thought the premise was good (how can you not enjoying nearly the entire Executive and Legislative branches being wiped out during the SOTU?) but it then overplayed every single stereotype of conservatives and republicans. Disgusting.
I was hoping for a Jack Bauer character. What I got was a Harry Reid character.

I enjoyed the first season of "Adam Ruins Everything".
Now this season he's gone full liberal and is using his program to advance liberal talking points.

I had great hopes for Designated Survivor as I used to enjoy 24 and Keifer. Quite disappointed at this point.

Yes, I am rather dissapointed too. Every time that stupid General opens his mouth I think he is getting fired. He would not have lasted 5 minutes acting like that if he worked under me.

I've become my dad, I watch sports and select news sources only, the rest of TV land is crap.

I got HBO specifically for the Sopranos. I also liked Deadwood, and Rome, other than that I could not watch.

Yes, a long time ago and now creeping into sports - hence my NFL ban this year (not a single minute of pre-game, game or post-game coverage, not even checking scores or standings, nothing).
Might even swear off the remaining Marvel movies after the smug actors against Trump bit that included a few franchise players.
Plus side is leaves me time to deal with old tax issues, maybe start that next business I have been toying with, more time with WifeyGimp and DaughterGimp, and of course more time to fly.
Now if I can just boycott having to work it will all be great but I am not in a protected class, so that's out....

Best shows on TV, bar none. Band of Brothers, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, The Wire, etc.

yeah, if the rich would pay their "fair share" then you could have free premium cable.
