Absolutely hits the nail. Jordan Peterson did an important podcast on this subject interviewing the author of the book Maher references here (if I recall correctly, if not it was another who wrote a book on the same subject) yet Jordan Peterson is called a far right extremist. How long before Maher is canceled and censored for being a far right extremist? He is definitely NOT. I don’t expect him to announce, like Elon Musk, that he’s switching votes from D to R.

It is literal illogic. The true TGs back then knew reality. “There are two genders, I want to be the other one.” There was no redefining of what a woman is. Everybody knew exactly what a woman is, that’s why a male trans wanted to be one! He knew very well that he could never biologically be one, never have a womb, never have two X chromosomes. He felt like a female on the inside, thoughts and emotions, and knew that any physical changes brought by hormones or surgery were only approximations, not organic reality.
It’s like giving an amputee a prosthetic. It’s not a real biological leg, but it might look and function like one to a degree. Trans people know this. It’s one reason the suicide rate is so high. A real trans knows deep in their heart that there is no real transitioning. You’d have to die and be reincarnated into a different body. Which is why they commit suicide because they know this. You can try to deny this reality but you cannot escape the cognitive dissonance which is lifelong and chronic, hence it’s a mental condition and it requires treatment. Like any chronic disorder you can manage it, but you never cure it.
Today’s woke activist tries to cure it by denying it’s a disorder in the first place, then explaining away the desire to be the gender you aren’t by redefining what gender is, denying basic biological reality, and constructing a fantasy world and then pushing it on the public using shaming, cancel culture, accusations of “transphobia” etc. to force cultural acceptance of this false restructuring of language and reality.
In the case of true trans, the management might be to have the hormones and surgery and live as the opposite sex. But you still have to come to terms with reality. For example, if you are born male, you shouldn’t expect to compete in women’s sports, because your Y chromosome gives you physical advantages, even if you have undergone hormone treatment.
A true trans can live a happy life pretending to be the other gender. In my experience it really is the only way they can come to peace. But they are a tiny minority. Since the left took it up as one more tool to confuse and control the public, including indoctrinating children, there are now multitudes of fake trans wannabes where the very worst thing you can do is try to transition them. In addition to destroying them individually, it is an attempt to transform our whole culture into a mind boggling dystopian nightmare.
Sexual reproduction (binary gender) has been our most basic reality for two billion years, since before our species arose and even before mammals. The binary nature of reality has been expressed in every religion and myth of mankind. The woke left is taking aim at the deepest foundations of human collective understanding and expressions of our very nature. Its bound to ultimately fail but the question is how many lives will be destroyed before then.

It is exceedingly odd that nobody transitions to any of the other 32 genders… only the two real ones.

The way the left is forcing companies to bend their language to "include" trans is simply amazing. I saw a drug commercial... "The efficacy is not proven in people who were assigned female at birth." Setting aside the total stupidity of not testing the drug on women, "assigned female at birth" is simply staggeringly insane. Birthing people. Human milk (not breast milk). Why must we change our language to make a vanishingly small number of people feel included?

I was reading an article on pregnancy and they started talking about the gestational parent and non-gestational parent. At first I was confused and thought they meant biological parents as opposed to adoptive parents. No! A gestational parent is a woman (mother). A non-gestational parent is a man (father). INSANITY. How many trans couples are there who insist the birthing parent is male or vice versa as a percent of the population? Way less than 1%, probably less than 0.01%, at least before it became fashionable and you got a bunch of fake trans.
Even the trans I knew back in the day would never dream of calling a woman who gave birth anything but a mother.
Now I have to read an article saying stuff like, “Gestational parents who conceive before the age of 30 have a less likelihood blah blah blah…” When a sane person would write, “Women who conceive before the age of 30 blah blah blah.”
This is pure lunacy. It cannot continue.

Keep in mind all of this garbage is just a tactic to keep people off center and not to pay attention to what is really happening.
If everyone was just to ignore the idiocy it would go away. They want this in the news 24/7, and they want people to be consumed with it.

Agreed. Now to skip merrily down the road a little further... How about gestational people who put their child up for adoption? They are not parents. How about implanted embryos from someone else? Those are gestational people who did not conceive. It would be interesting to skip ahead ten years and see what language is forced to become to be all inclusive to every mental state.
