I went to the FAA website. That’s just the investigations.

There were 5,981 unruly pax reports, 4,290 mask-related incidents reported, and 338 enforcement cases initiated.

I would LOVE to see a breakout by airline. I’m guessing 70% of them occurred on Spirit airlines, based on what I’ve seen on YouTube.  Love those discount airlines.

Hm... are the mask-related incidents a subset of unruly passenger incidents?  If so, then getting rid of masks would reduce total incidents to just 1691.  That's probably a normal year given the  unwashed masses that travel in cattle class.
