I cannot find this reported in any MSM, including Fox.  Anyone have a less partisan source that verifies this?

Breitbart has a bad habit of picking up stories too thin for most journalists.

In an interview with Martha McCollum of Fox News AG Sessions said he had hired an individual formally of the DoJ to investigate what was going on.  He did not call this person a special prosecutor.

 I'm sure there is a link on Fox somewhere of the interview since it was fairly recent.
