Thank goodness for sequestration. ;)

Old story, previously debunked. Nothing new, JB?
National debt, from Obama's first day in office until today:
01/20/2009 10,626,877,048,913.08
11/09/2015 18,614,769,216,712.84
http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/debt/search?startMonth=01&startDay=20&startYear=2009&endMonth=11&endDay=09&endYear=2015
He's on pace to double the national debt by the time he leaves office on January 20, 2017.
Nice try though.

probably a few people need to understand what the Executive branch is responsible for and what the Legislative branch is responsible for.

Unfortunately there's little difference as of late

Has someone changed the Constitution?

Well, we have an Executive who thinks that Congress not acting gives him the authority to do it anyway (DAPA)

That's where I was going with my comment. Should have elaborated.

Sadly, people seem to think now that the president runs the whole show and controls everything.

I thought this country was founded by "WE THE PEOPLE", not "ME THE PREZ."

That includes the sitting President.

He's trying, as is the SCOTUS. How's the progressive policies working out for you in Commiefornia?

There is so much money in this state, that we survive in spite of them. We're doing OK. That's how socialist states survive. Plenty of enterprise and wealth generating businesses are based in the state to create revenue to be frittered away on feel good programs. If we were to apply California's government to say, Nebraska, they would be broke like Puerto Rico in a year.
I wish we were the state we used to be, but that ship has sailed. We are now working towards EU membership status I think. :(

So CA is not running any deficits, nor do they have accumulating debt?

I feel your pain. A lot of states have become like that, and I am afraid you, and I will have to bail them out through the Feds. >:(

Oh no, we have debt and it's growing, it's just we are able to manage it for now. Moonbeam is pushing us to bankruptcy as best he can. The point is, we will be able to remain solvent longer than other states can at this rate, but eventually we will fail. As long as we can service our debts and blame all the problems on the obstructionist Republicans (which don't really control jack shit in this state), the electorate will continue solidly voting Democrat. When we do fail, they will blame the evil big corporations and the billionaires for the failure and then vote communist to fix it.
The wildly popular idea here is, we should all live as equals. The problem with that is, as the real communists know is, because there are very few wealthy people compared to the vast classes, that when you average it out, everybody is just pretty much stuck at the lower middle class.
America has never been the land of equality for all, it has always been intended to be opportunity for all. Admittedly, slavery, racism and bigotry has dampened that ideal in the past, but that is what we should be working on, not equality for all, but opportunity for all. The opportunity to better yourself and your position.
