Nope. Every training dept, in every town, county, state, fed LEO program must teach equal treatment law enforcement methods. It's fed mandated. I believe, in most states now there is an annual class(maybe online, maybe canned presentations) or seminars on equal treatment that have to be run to retain a badge. I know in my county there is a requirement that every badged officer has to take the training each year. Not sure about other states/counties.

If this thing doesn't explode and people (plural) going to prison, then that confirms to me that the Tree of Liberty is very, very thirsty and must be refreshed.

Mike's Young and Rosbash along with Jeff Hall won the Nobel prize for Physiology or Medicine for their groundbreaking research into the genetic wiring of circadian rhythms. Rainer Weiss, Kip Thorne, and Barry Barish won the Nobel for Physics for their discoveries of gravitational waves.  Crackpot professors, yeah.
